5 days post op. Feeling great. No pain!

Today is day 5 and I am beyond happy. I have been off pain killers since the night of day 2. I am feeling very fortunate to have such a smooth recovery. I saw my surgeon yesterday and started massaging. I can push them together to make them touch. I am still sleeping on my back propped up and that has been the worst part. My back hurts in the middle of the night. I'll be happy when I can sleep normal. My right breast has already been dropping. My left as well just not as fast so I'm really working at it. I am happy with the look even this early in the process. I took all the meds the recommended starting 3 days prior to surgery including arnica Montana and vitamin C and a stool softener. And I kept on top of pain meds every 4 hours for 2 days post op and then switched to Tylenol and I never had a moment of horrendous pain. I am so excited to see how they will look in a few weeks!

Done done and done

Had my surgery yesterday. All went well. Ended up with 375 silicon mod plus profile under the muscle in both. I was a little disappointed when he told me he didn't think he could get the 400cc to sit right with the muscle . He was afraid of snoopy boob so it was either a smaller implant or go over the muscle. I opted for smaller and under. I think I'll be happy! The pain is manageable. Been keeping ahead of it with the pain meds. No nausuea thankfully. Extremely dry mouth and dry eyes I think from the nausea patch behind my ear. Hoping to the pain dosent get worse today. de Seckel and the nurses at the hospital were so wonderful. I have my post op appt today. Nervous and excited to see them!!

Glad things went well! Can't wait to see your progress. I'm sure they'll look great! Keep drinking lots-dry mouth is no fun, but will go away :)

Wow! I am so glad to hear that things went well. No nausea, and your pain is ok. Yes, I too get dry mouth. And your post op is today? Mine was set for a week after surgery. I wonder why every dr is so different. Did he tell you to use ice packs? Mine didn't, but I have heard alot of people say to use ice packs. I was extremely nauseous, didn't have a nausea patch though. He gave me suppositories for the nausea, which I did not take. Lol. Definitely take the pain meds on time. Because I didn't take them at night last night and I woke up and was in horrible pain this morning. But my Dr only gave me enough pain meds for 2 days, and I live an hour and half from his office! And it's the weekend! I called and they are going to give me something weaker they said. Wow. Weaker? these pain meds barely help now as it is, and I had surgery 2 days ago. This is crazy. I have also been taking ibuprofen and that really seemed to help the pain even more along with the pain meds. I think because of the inflammation. Well hope to hear more good news after your post op. Congratulations. I have been following you since the beginning since we are both right on the same schedule, same body stats and measurements and all. Good luck today. Day 2 was worse than day one for me. Don't do too much today please. So happy for you. :)

I can't believe they only gave you enough meds for 2 days! They didn't tell me to ice but I have been. IlMakes them feel better. I have to go back Monday too for them to show me exercises! And then back in on day 12 for stitches out. I definitely think I overdid it this morning. I'm feeling it now. So I'm going to just veg for a while. Even the doc was like you are doing too good you need to chill out or you will pay for it. Yikes! I'm going to try to start wheening off oxy on day 3 and take Tylenol. We will see!! I'm happy with them right now so I'm hoping they don't shrink too much!

Oh yes, I could definitely tell when I have been overdoing it. Well she did give me more pain meds. And I have been alternating them with Motrin. It seems to help alot!! Today the pain seems to be better than the last 3 days. Lol. I even tried on my sports bra I bought to see how it fits. Its a 36D. It fits but they are way high so of course it doesn't fit right. I am starting to get stir crazy now. My mom is wanting me to come over today but I am not sure yet. I haven't told a soul that I got these because I didn't want judgmental people telling me what to do or how to do it, or try to talk me out of it. Well, my fiance and daughter know. But they have to know they live with me. Lol. My dr put in dissolvable stitches with this tape piece over it. He said that the tape will fall off naturally in 7-10 days. So i dont think i have to get stitches removed. And since my post op is on day 7, we shall see how i am doing. It seems that my right breast is already softening a little, but my left one is very hard still. I know it will take a while, but I am so impatient! It is getting warm out and I want to go to the beach. I live like 20 minutes from the ocean! I am happy with mine as well and also hope they dint shrink much. I didn't want to do this major surgery for only one cup size you know. So Anyways, exercises? Wow, I wonder what they are. I heard you can massage the breasts so that they will drop sooner, but I am unsure of the techniques in doing so. Also heard that massaging helps to make sure you don't get a capsular constructor (not sure if I spelled that right). Well I am so glad to hear you are doing well, liking the new girls and taking it a bit more easy today. I still can't post pics. :( are you going to post pics of yours? I may try from my laptop later tonight or tomorrow. I am glad to have someone to talk to about all of this, and someone who is going through it at the same time so we can compare stories and stuff. Well hope u have a wonderful day today. :)

My surgery is the 9th but thank you! Good luck to you as well! Are you nervous?!
April 7, 2015
Oh, yeah! I don't know why I said the opposite. I am sorry. We both had the 9th that's right. Then my surgeon had an opening the day prior and they called and asked if I could do it a day earlier. Lol. So mine is tomorrow now! I have had alot going on. I just got back from a weeks vacation in California. And I live in NC. So please excuse me. Well at least you know I wad thinking about you. Lol. Yes, I am very nervous, excited and anxious about tomorrow. But I have everything ready. Thank you for asking. I will update my own feed as I have not even had time to do so.

Good luck! Hope all goes well tomorrow! I am 5'9" and 124lbs thinking of 375 or 400 HP. Since I'm so narrow HP will stay more within my frame and not widen me, but it's all in the look you want. My PS adviced that if I went bigger than 375 to go with HP, which I agree with after playing with the sizers, just b/c of my width. Can't wait to see your results.

Praying for you through your surgery, and swift recovery. Hope all went well. Thinking about u, as I lay here since I had mine done yesterday. If you need anyone to talk to, I am here. I can't wait to see what size you went with. I cannot post pic on here from my phone, or I would show you mine. Uhh! Well hope you are resting and keeping hydrated. Very important. Hope to hear wonderful news. :)
