Had my consultation and I'm Looking to get 350-400cc mentor silicone unders, crease incision, moderate profile plus. I am 31 years old, 5'8 and 130 lbs. deflated 34a after having 2 kids. I am really excited to finally fill out shirts and bathing suits and wearing actual bras. I have been wearing sports bras for a while since regular bras just don't even fit right.

Sizing help!
HappyMomma77February 26, 2015
Anybody have any recommendations for sizing based on my current size? I'd like to be proportional. I have about 37" hips. Would like a full C. 5''8 130 lbs . Deflated a with barely any breast tissue left. Was thinking 385ccs but now considering 400. I know there isn't much of a differnce between those but I'm afraid to go too small. Should I go larger?!

We have the same stats and I'm looking to achieve a 'small C' (I'm scared of them looking huge on me) and it was recommended I go with 350 cc's moderate profile..Good Luck!

You have one of the best doctors out there. My advice would be to let him guide you! Is he the one who said 350-400? If so, it seems like ladies always advise going for the bigger size, because we all get boob greed lol ;-)

It's hard to give advice because everyone's body is different. Some girls look huge with 350cc's and others not so much. I have noticed this by looking at other women's profiles that have gotten similar size implants as me. Take me for example! I got 360cc's and don't look very big. I definitely have the boob greed, which I didn't think I would get by the way. I was honestly afraid of going too big! I think you would be happy with either of those cc's. You are tall and thin. The difference between the two is 15cc which is like half a shot glass layered over each breasts. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference from what I have read. Given the option between the two, I would just go with the bigger one, even though there isn't much of a difference. Definitely ask your plastic surgeon what he thinks and tell him you are afraid of going too small.

Thank u! I think I'm going to end up with 375 in one and 400 in the other. pre-op on Monday! How long did your pre-op take?

I actually didn't have a seperate pre-op appointment. Odd, I know. I thought so myself. It seems like my doctor combines the pre-op stuff with the day of surgery. I had my initial consultation and then two weeks before my BA I requested another appointment to discuss things more in depth. I then arrived the day of surgery about an hour early to sign paperwork, get pictures taken, and talk to my doctor about size again. Then I went into surgery. I didn't really like that aspect about my doctor. I would have felt a lot better if I had an actual pre-op appointment a day or couple days before surgery.

I just had a Breast augmentation 2 weeks ago. I had 3 kids, am 5'7" about 135 lbs and from the pictures our bodies look extremely similar. I was a deflated 34a and also went back and forth on size a million times. I wanted to be proportionate but not look huge. My doctor took 375 and 400 back into surgery and ended up going with 375 and I am beyond thrilled! They are the perfect size and I am so happy- hope that helps you out. I haven't tried on a bra yet but I'm assuming im a large c or small d.

pre op done! All paid up!

Had my pre op appt yesterday. Feeling pretty confident with everything . Determined sizing for the most part. He is going to plan for 400cc in both sides and may have to do 425 in one. I was thinking 375 and 400 but he said I could handle the 400 and 425 based on my chest measurements. I mean it's not much of a difference anyways! I'm a little nervous about being too big at first but I'm sure once the swelling and everything settles I'll be ok! I'm nervous excited! Just want to be done and jump to like 3 weeks post op!

Congrats on a successful pre op appointment! That's great you are feeling confident and good. Personally, I think you'll be happy with the 400/425 combo. It's such a small difference anyway and it's more common to hear "I wish I went bigger" versus "I'm too big". I doubt you'll regret choosing the higher cc's. I'm so excited for you! Hope this weeks go quickly for you!

Feminine but still natural, which I appreciate. I felt he guided me really well and because the 400's just were too large for my body to hold in surgery, he went with 350. I am still settling into where I will be but as a deflated but full b before (VS sizing), I'm pretty sure I will be a solid D once I get sized. It's looks good on my body- def trust him to give you a great result but for sure communicate where you want to be as far as example pics. I literally did right before surgery again with him lol! I was so anxious and excited to just be on the other side in the weeks before I had trouble sleeping! I was scouring this site constantly! I wish you a great experience and a speedy recovery! I'm sure you will be so happy with your results! It's an exciting time! Best of luck! You are in good hands with Dr Seckel and all the ladies at the office!
