I want to start off by saying that Dr. Samuel Lin is an extremely talented surgeon and a remarkable human being.

I broke my nose during my freshman year of college (playing sports). As a result of this injury, I had difficulty breathing -- especially during the wintertime.

Dr. Lin was the second surgeon I reached out to regarding my nose. After my initial appointment with Dr. Lin, I knew that I was in good hands. I actually felt like he cared about my breathing problem and wanted to fix it as soon as possible.

I am unsure of the exact date of the initial appointment, but about a month later, I was due for surgery. When I was informed of my surgery date, I was sure that Dr. Lin meant October -- a year from now. I couldn’t believe how quickly things were moving!

How Dr. Lin managed to cut into my nose and not leave a single mark is something I will be asking myself for years to come. One of my biggest fears, besides not waking up after anesthesia (which rarely happens by the way), was the idea having a visibly, horrendous scar on my face that I would have to wake up to everyday. That was not the result of this surgery, and I can’t thank Dr. Lin enough for this.

I could go on about Dr. Samuel Lin -- but I will stop here. If you are considering making Dr. Lin your plastic surgeon, you have made a great choice -- one you won’t regret.

I’m looking forward to being able to breathe this winter, and for many winters to come.

Congrats! What’s the #1 piece of advice you would give to someone considering this surgery?

Thank you! My #1 piece of advice would be to just go for it. Being able to breathe properly is extremely important. It's definitely a procedure I won't regret having.
