Dr Reinstadler- TRULY AN AMAZING HUMAN BEING!

Dr. Reinstadler just sent me a quick note via email. I do not live in the same city that he does but he was kind enough and compassionate enough to place my mind at somewhat of an ease.
The doctor that performed my surgery was vague and did not answer my questions directly about my breathing.
Dr. Reinstadler, took the time out of his day to respond to me on email, in a VERY detailed account.
It is somewhat re-assuring although, I am still in quite a bit of discomfort. My breathing has been compromised for 2 months and 10 days (yes I am counting!) I don't just have congestion, my breathing
sensations have completely gone away... I continue to receive sinus headaches EVERY SINGLE DAY.
My nostrils don't appear obstructed but there is so much inflammation in the nose, its hard to tell what is going to heal and what isn't.
I am TERRIFIED every day.
The first time I had the surgery 20 years ago, I did not experience these sensations, I only had my nose reduced and my extremities where impacted.
When I went in to fix my nose cosmetically the doctor put in skin grafts and compromised my nose,
he never explained to me ONCE that the revision may be risky and I MAY LOOSE my breathing sensations.
Dr. Reinstadler is a WONDERFUL man, who has taken his time, to explain to me that I may have to wait 3-4 months to get my breathing back- I never even got that from my current PS.
I don't live in Newport Beach, but if I did - I would HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Reinstadler on his honesty and integrity alone.
Thank you doctor, for giving me my hope back!

The doctor who performed the surgery.. "claims" that he has never heard of compromised breathing SENSATIONS.... that I am the only one who has every complained about something like this...I had back to back surgery, 12 months after the fact...
Will an Air flow study.... accurately access breathing sensations? I don't feel comfortable with my doctor's skill sets at all..

Thanks for starting your story here on RealSelf. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with breathing properly. I would contact two to three board certified plastic surgeons about this and schedule consultations. Physical exams are the only real way for a surgeon to know what is going on in your particular case.
I hope you'll use this space to keep us posted on your journey. And I hope you're able to get this revised so you can breathe deeply again.

Sorry... someone was writing this out for me because I can't breathe properly and feel like passing out all the time!
What they were supposed to type is I saw and ENT for a possible adenoid and he convinced me to get Rhinoplasty 20 years ago.
due to the fact that he gave me a "pinch" on the right side, I decided to update my nose with a plastic surgeon last year.
It compromised my breathing due to tissue scarring and when he went in 55 days ago, to address the scarring he cosmetically changed the nose again, and lifted it, removed, what appears to be additional cartiliage on my nose and I have compromised breathing, I may even have a nasal valve collapse... the pinch was replaced with a graft doesn't "appear" to want to stay fully up.. it is "lazy" and there appears to be an internal depression on the inside.. can this be fixed? I don't want to live with compromised breathing... and none of this was explained to me going in.
I should have researched my options better.... but there must be technology that can fix this...
