Hi All, I found this site and your reviews very...

Hi All,

I found this site and your reviews very helpful, so I wanted to write my review hoping I could do the same.

I was extremely nervous about going under, intact, I almost backed out. I did not tell my family or anyone about my surgery and feared the worst...that they would get a call that something had happened to me. But everything went well and I am happy I didn't back out.

So I had my surgery on Wednesday the 16th and everything went fine. The PS took 3300cc form my abs, flanks, inner thighs and knees. I stayed the night at the center and I am so glad I did. If you have this option, DO IT..it is worth every penny. I was in A LOT of pain and was draining everywhere....The overnight nurse was amazing, I could not imagine coming home the same day. If you are coming home that day- I would recommend getting crackers and ginger ale to help your tummy..ALSO...make sure to take you time when getting up to use the restroom, I saw on my monitor how much your blood pressure can drop from just standing up.... Be careful, take your time and if you get light headed, sit back down and try again in a few minutes.....

It is now Friday and I am still shy of 48 hours post surgery. The leaking has stopped (for the most part) and I am not in as much pain as day 1. I can tell I am swollen, especially in my crotch area, EW! lol....which I called and asked the nurse..its perfectly normal...GREAT, lol. I may have noticed this area more because the CG and padding is covering up everywhere else.

SO...I have not taken off the padding or garment yet so I have not been able to see the results. I will see them for the first time tomorrow when I shower. From my consult, it seemed like my PS would be taking more than 3,300ccs...I guess he didn't need to....I hope I like the results...

I had put on some weight the past few years...I do not have trouble losing weight, but I really wanted to contour my body. I have always had a boxy athletic shape. I wanted to contour to a smaller waist and a more feminine look.

Wow that shower felt amazing! I like the my more feminine shape and flat tummy. I still have a lot of swelling on my hips- but it is only day 3, that is expected. I still have pain but it is now a 4/10, the first few days were 7/10.

I was doing some research and bought an abdominal board to prevent bumps from my compression garment...I am going to ask my PS about it on Monday at my follow up. Has anyone heard about these or have any input? Any other tips to make sure I get the best results?

You look amazing!!!! Glad you're feeling better too! I haven't had mine yet but my PS said they would provide a foam board to wear for the first few days to help with flatness.
