2.5 month update
I just posted a long thorough update and then the screen timed out and erased it all!
Just to recap, I'm posting my status as 'worth it'. There are some pros and cons, but the pros outweigh any problems for me, by far!
I'll start with the cons, which are 3 for me.
1. The mole removal seems to be settling as slightly hypertrophic. The rest of the scar is nearly invisible and not raised. I'm not too worried about it though as I'm having a laser resurfacing and think it can be improved. Dr. Spiegel said there was a chance this would happen, but I still feel it was worth it.
2. I wish there were maybe 2 more mm removed. Tooth show greed :).
3. There is some odd milia, or teeny tiny skin lump, very near the incision that seems to have become inflamed. It scabs over, falls off, and comes back. It's like a persistent colorless zit that wasn't there before. It's not a big deal and I can't even photograph it, but kind of annoying.
The pros are few but weighty and have made a big deal for me.
1. Removing the mole has been such a relief for me and I'm glad almost every time I catch myself in the mirror!
2. I love my new proportions! I adjusted to the new look pretty quick, but I still get a kick when I see photos or am putting on lipstick. My lips are pretty full but it didn't really look like it before. Not to mention my lip length before just made me look so mopey all the time. It's a subtle difference, but I see it even 2 months later and am very, very, happy about it! It seems like I am now finally looking more like how I feel like I am supposed to look. If that makes any sense :P.
3. I think I look younger. I've had to say my age a couple times since the lift, and people were surprised. My dentist even said he thought I was 25. haha. It wasn't exactly my priority going in, but I'll take it!
I found a before pic that kind of blew my mind and am posting it side by side with a pic from today. Also posting some pics of the scar with and without makeup.

Stitches out!
I got my stitches out at day 8, which turns out to have been maybe a day longer than necessary. My skin actually grew over the knot of the stitch over the mole excision, which was a little painful to get out.
I also sort of thought I could just go to a CVS clinic type place to have my stitches out, but Carol at their office let me know I should definitely go to a reputable office. I had to scramble to find someone who would see me short notice, which was a slightly alarming couple hours! I was able to get an appointment at a plastic surgeon who had done really nice filler work for me a couple years ago, Dr. Sumit Bapna. Dr. Bapna was great as ever! I highly recommend him to locals!
Even at a plastic surgeon's office, they were very impressed by how teeny tiny the stitches were. It took a special magnifying head lamp to identify the type of stitch used and to see them close enough to take out. I cringe to imagine what kind of damage could have been done from someone tugging at a stitch pattern they don't know with overly large tools.
Swelling today day 10 seems to be down. I started going out without any concern day 8, even with redness. I've always thought the close up pics look a little gross and like the scar is terrible. But I find from a normal talking distance, it looks fairly normal at this point, even though I see on my own close up pics it looks a little red and bumpy. I'm not even bothered really to want to put makeup on it. I've been drinking deep green juice all week.
I am holding steady at 11mm. I can see why some people say they wish they had another 1-2 mm of tooth show, but in all honesty, I'm happy with my length given I started at 19mm. I love how I'm healing and wish all this lovely, very slight, swelling thats filling out my tear troughs would stick around! It looks like I might have 1-2 mm tooth show.
