Happy to Have Made the Decision to Get my Breast Reduction

My whole adult life I have wanted to get a Breast Reduction. I was never happy with the way I looked and it was impossible to buy bras that were comfortable and swimsuits that fit. For the last 4 years I have worked hard to lose weight and become healthier. I have lost 90 pounds and feel a lot better about myself but no matter how much I lost I still had a large cup size (G,H). While I lost inches around my cup size was still huge and it made it even more difficult to find bras and swimsuits that fit. In addition to all of that I had back and neck pain that physical therapy and exercise were not helping. My back would still occasionally spasm. My primary care physician suggested that a breast reduction would help me and recommended that I meet with Dr. Samuel Lin. I told both Dr. Lin and my primary care doctor that I would only have the procedure if it was deemed medically necessary and covered by insurance, which it was. I thought about it a lot and I am totally happy to have made the decision to have the surgery. The recovery was not too difficult for me. Other than the first day I was able to manage the pain with Extra Strength Tylenol. After 2 weeks I was able to shop for a bra and my cup size had gone down to a D, which is perfect for my frame. When I went bathing suit shopping it was a very emotional experience for me. It was the first time in my adult life that I had too many suits that fit and I had to decide which ones I was going to buy. I am now enjoying my summer with 3 great bathing suits that I feel great in. I am back to being able to go to the gym and my back and neck feel good.
