Pre op
Well I had my pre op appointment today and it went really good. They answered all of my "stupid" questions haha. My sister is gonna help take care of me after the surgery so she came with me. She remembered to ask questions I didn't really think of like since its summer when can I wear a bathing suit. She said usually within a few weeks or so. Just to put sunblock on my incisions even though they will be covered it helps to stop the sun getting to them to darken the scars. T minus 12 days! June 7 is the big day and it cannot come fast enough!!!
Surgery scheduled!
So I saw the plastic surgeon yesterday for my consult. She is amazing!! She has done 3000 reductions and she showed me some before and after and her work is beautiful! She said I am definitely a candidate and she is submitting to my insurance. She requested a letter from my chiropractor and took some pics and measurements. Pending the insurance approval my surgery is scheduled for June 7! I can't believe it's happening this fast! I got my consult die to a cancellation a week after I initially called and now with a little luck she had the 7th available. She is booking into October! I'm a firm believer in everything happens for a reason and karma. This is my time and it's my turn to be pain free for the rest of my life! I am beyond excited and I can't wait! I'll be healing through the summer but that's ok it's worth it!!
