I have always wanted a breast reduction and I finally had the courage to do it. I'm 5'3 and 120 lbs, and a was a size 36 DD cup. Having this size cup, I felt that I was limited to many activities. I never wanted to run and when I worked out, I always had to wear two sports bras. My back would hurt and sometimes I would have some neck pain.

I had my surgery Friday, December 18, 2015. This day has changed my life. Surgery took 4 hours and the results came out amazing. Recovery period has not been bad! I went from a DD to a C cup!

Dr. Lin is amazing, both him and his staff. He did an incredible job and I will recommend him to anyone! He answered all my questions and made me feel confident that I was making the right decision.

Congratulations on your surgery! I'm scheduled with Dr. Lin on 1/11 for a Breast reduction and tummy tuck. I can relate to the two sport bras situation. I also wear a cotton type bra under my regular bras for support. I can't wait to not have to do that any longer! I'm so excited but have so many questions. Hopefully you don't mind me asking some...Are you taking any supplements or just the pain meds/antibiotics? Are you still using the surgical bra they discharged you with or have you switched to another type? Did you have your post op visit, if so did they discuss scar therapy? Thanks in advance!
I was prescribed 5mg of Oxycodene but I only took that for 3 days and just kept to Tylenol. I wore my surgical bra for a week and when I went to my Post Op appointment a week later they said I can wear any bra without underwire. During my post op, they said to use scar cream and massage the scars. I have also now switched to Advil and Ibprofin to help with some of the swelling. I have another appointment in 6 weeks.
