I've always wanted to change my breast size....

I've always wanted to change my breast size. Equipped with my 32A I visited Dr. Darrow in June of 2013. He was the first Surgeon I saw for this procedure and left there knowing he was the guy. I booked my surgery for September and decided on a size of 300cc Moderate plus silicone. Dr. Darrow was very informative and supportive the entire time. Helping me pick the correct size and projection for what I desired, Dr. Darrow made sure I understood what my constraints were as far as my body type, my natural tissue, rib cage shape and skin tightness. The whole process I felt confident and well taken care of. Surgery was a piece of cake, all follow up appointments were great and all questions were answered. I am now 6 months out from surgery and love them more and more each day. My natural breasts were far from symetrical or aesthetically attractive but 6 months later I have beautiful natural looking breasts that I'm not sure another surgeon could have given me. They are soft, have great projection and really fit my frame well. I currently am sized at a 32D. In the future, should I decide to go bigger or have other procedures Dr. Darrow will be the surgeon for the job. :)

Would love to see a picture of before and after if you don't mind! Love your story! It's so refreshing to hear so many women have wonderful experiences. I am having surgery next Thursday and am also an A/B cup. I am going with 350cc. If you don't mind what are your stats? I am hoping the size I am going with will be about a D cup. I am 5'3" and 122 pounds.

Hi there! I just added a pletheora of images for you! Let me know if you have any questions. I was a 32A/30B before surgery 5'2" 109lbs with a 26" rib cage and BWD of 11.5. I really wanted to be a C cup so we decided on 300 sientra mod plus silicone and I currently wear a 32D/30DD so worked out perfect!! Its hard to say what you'll be after surgery as the same size implant can look so different on two people. I found that bringing in pictures of boobs that I liked and deciding on what proportion of boob to body/hip was more helpful than cup size when talking with my surgeon. But I seriously kept on questioning the size up until right before they put me under, its normal :) Trust your surgeon. Good luck! You'll love them!!

also I forgot to add, think about projection and what kind of look you want (natural/more fake) its does make a difference in what kind of cleavage you will have after surgery. If I could have done a moderate profile with the same cc's I would have. Sometimes I think I have too much projection and not enough cleavage and I got Mod Plus. And then sometimes I want them 110 times bigger and my husband looks at me like I'm crazy. boob greed. its real.

OH MY GOD! Your breasts are GORGEOUS!!!! Absolutely stunning!! I absolutely have confidence now in the size he has chosen for me! I don't have the same stomach as you (hip indention is way different) but I am pretty thin. Thank you SO SO much for posting those pictures your surgeon did an AMAZING job on you!!! I can't wait to see mine now! Lol

Were one of your boobs slightly bigger than the other? It's hard to see in your before picture. The reason I ask is because one of mine is slightly bigger than the other but I am sticking with the same size on both because the doctor said it is the smallest difference and I am afraid if I do one size different that the smaller boob will end up the bigger one in the end.

Yes. Well if you could even really say that one was "bigger" :) my left breast is bigger. You can see it in my before picture. The left crease was also lower than the right. I asked about using a larger implant in my smaller breast but he advised against it because I didn't have a big difference and because when a different size implant is used the width changes as well and may look even more asymmetrical/uneven. I think its perfectly normal to have asymmetry and what makes us special.

Agreed! I have another question did you choose sientra or that just what your doctor uses? I can't find anything on there being a difference between sientra or mentor. I am doing the mentor brand and am now concerned there is going to be a huge difference lol. I think I am OVER thinking all of this stuff.

Omg I totally went insane with so many questions/doubts! My surgeon used seintra so I just went with them but I think mentors are actually used more in the industry. Seintra just came out recently. I know how hard it is to relax before this surgery and even after but if you trust your surgeon and you like his work and feel like he has your best interest in mind you have nothing to worry about :)

I swear I am only insane when I am making big decisions!!! It took me two and a half years just to find the right orthodontist lol!! I have a friend who went to him and he is one of the top doctors in Ohio so I trust him 100% I am just so nervous that I will regret the size. But, he says that is the max he recommends for how small and narrow my chest is. Broad shoulders yet narrow boobies :\. Anyways I am happy to have found your profile and thank you so much for posting pictures! And dealing with the crazy lol!!

I was told 300cc was as big as I could go as well. I really wanted 325-350 but he said it might yield negative results. Better to play it safe, complications look like no fun. I figure I can always go bigger in the future, now that they are all stretched out, lol :) Everyone wants to go bigger, even someone who has 800's wants to go bigger. Boobie greed is very real and some days you'll wish they were bigger and some days smaller but most of the time you'll love them :)

Wow, I can't believe you only have 300cc's that is amazing, the look great! I am swithering between 300 mod plus and 325 high profile but I was scared that they wouldn't give me the look I wanted and that I would be disappointed but if they turned out anything like yours I would be over the moon!

hey! thanks! I LOVE THEM! Best thing I ever did for myself, seriously. I really like the mod plus. My surgeon didn't recommend high profile because he prefers a more natural look and I did too, plus I didn't have much to begin with and was afraid they would look like two half cantalopes on my chest. I'm a 32DD or a 30E at the moment. I'm sure you will love which ever you choose! Let me know if I can help with any questions!

I just can't get my head around the fact that 300cc's could look so different on different people. I do prefer the moderate plus look but I was worried that 300 cc wouldn't be enough for the look I want as they don't seem as big as yours on a lot of girls on here! I suppose I just have to go with what my surgeon suggests and hope that he really knows what I want! Thanks for your help!
December 9, 2014
Hey Samantha, I agree totally! I ended up with 304 cc In my left and 339 in my right (I had a half cup size difference) and mid profile. I have pictures if you want to look at my profile. Quiet a different look than this girl but still amazing!

What was your BWD and height/weight, if you don't mind me asking. This is the nice, round look I was looking to achieve.
