Birthday Boobs - Boston, MA

Yesterday was my 26th birthday and mission birthday boobs is in full bloom!
My pre-op was Monday, Feb 9th and I made my way through the blizzard to get to my appt. Luckily, the staff were all present in spite of the weather. I guess that's a good reason to have a PS who operates within a hospital.
In my last post, I talked about how I was a little undecided in which volume implant to choose. Originally, I chose the 400HP, but I started to fixate on the 450HP implant during the two weeks between the consult and pre-op. My PS gave me both sizes to try on during the consult after we discussed what look I wanted to achieve.
Walking into the pre-op, I knew I wanted the larger implant. I was pretty excited about telling him to go with the 450HP. Unfortunately, I have to stick with the 400HP. After a second look at my measurements, turns out my right breast (dominant side) actually has an 11.7cm BWD while my left is 12.2cm. My right breast is the reason why I can't go with a larger implant.
I asked if it would be possible to order both sizes anyway and just try them during the op. My PS said there's no way a 450HP would fit in me without later complications. I would have to move to an ultra high profile implant in order to get anything bigger than 400cc's in my boobs.
Truth be told, I was a little let down by having to settle for the 400HP. After seeing so many photos of other people's results...I just wanted the larger implant so badly. However, the reason why I chose my PS was because I loved what I had read and seen from him. I have to trust a man who's done successful breast augmentations for the last 32 years.
Also, I realize that if I want to go larger later in life...I totally can. :)

3 Days to Pre-op
3 days until my pre-op. I'm shooting for the 450HP, I think. I am having a difficult time getting my first pick out of my head. I put together some 450cc rice sizers to see what they would look like in a bra.

Hey! Just by looking at your wish pics I would def do 450. I did 400 mp and they are not too big at all! Now, I know I could have easily done up to 500 and it not be too much. You don't want to regret going too small. Good luck!
By the way if you want to look at my pics for comparison, our measurements are the same 26-27 in waist and 38 in hips.
Thank you for the reassurance! Yeah, I think I have to go 450cc, You're right about my regretting a smaller size. After reading everyone's reviews and seeing so many photos, I think I would regret not going with the 450ccs. Being flat chested for so long just makes me want to be insanely voluptuous and I think I need the bigger implant for that.
By the way, your result turned out SO natural. I know you wanted to go bigger, but they look amazing as they are, too. Do you wish you went bigger? When did you start to feel that way?
Yeah, you will need the bigger implant, especially if you don't have a lot of breast tissue now. I do love my results, it's exactly what I wanted for right now in my life. I have two little girls and we live in the pool and I wanted to feel comfortable in front of them in a bathing suit. That being said I would def do. 450/475/500 range when I do a revision later in life. You just don't really realize until after you get implants that they get pushed down so much. I think boob greed happens for almost everyone unfortunately. You just get used to them so quick and realize you would like a little more fullness. :)
Have you shown you wish pics to your ps? Do you know what size implants they got?
A couple of my aunts had their breasts done after children. One of them said after all the swelling had gone down and the drop and fluff happened, she had missed how big they were right after the surgery.
I showed my wish pics to my PS and he estimated what CC's the women in my wish pics were. He also asked me what size I would like to see myself. He then went through and told me D cups on different body types require different volumes. We compared a range of volumes with the testers and my first pick was the 450s. I can't get them out of my head!
Thank you for messaging me back and forth. It feels really good to have someone who's so similar in measurements and body type to discuss this stuff. My pre-op is tomorrow and I get to tell the doc which size I want tomorrow. He's probably still going to order two sizes, both the 400 and the 450.
Oh no problem! This website is a lifesaver! I don't know what I would have done without it. I really appreciated all the feedback and help I got. And don't get too hung up on the size, I ended up being a DD, which if someone would have told me that before surgery I would have freaked out. But in reality it's not that big. I barely filled up a B so DD sounded huge! But with clothes on I look like I have boobs but not overly noticeable.
I did take arnica and had no bruising. My must haves after surgery were
1. Wedge memory foam pillow-yes it was different than regular pillows $15 Walmart
2. Super cozy
Button front gown. I lived in this for the first week.
3. Heating pads and gel ice packs. Pea bags stink
4. The one tip that my patient coordinator gave me ( who also got hers done by my ps) was to take muscle relaxers like clock work. Even in the middle of the night. I set my alarm for every 4 hours for 5 days. My recovery was sooo easy. I think that at least had something to do with it.
Good luck with everything! This time is so exciting! :)

Countdown: Feb 1st!
Hi everyone!
It's February 1st and the offical countdown begins!
- Pre-op appt is in 8 days on Feb 9th @ 11:15am.
- My birthday is in 11 days on Feb 12th (I share it w/Abe Lincoln).
- THE ACTUAL SURGERY IS IN 23 DAYS ON FEB 24TH! (I have to call in the day before around 1pm to see what time I need to be at the hospital. Is that always the protocol?)
Updates:
1. A few days ago, I picked up some Palmer's cocoa butter and reusable silicone pasties. Have been appling the cocoa butter to my breasts and chest area on a nightly basis since getting it. I don't want stretch marks and it's winter, so moisturizing so probably a good idea. The silicone pasties are for any nipple sensitivity I may experience during recovery.
2. The Scarguard I ordered has arrived. It came highly recommended by my PS and had a ton of great reviews on Amazon.
3. Ordered some zip front sports bras online from Missguidedus.com. They were $19 each so they weren't a super deal. I really like them though (see attached picture). Today, I started to take vitamin C pills to boost my immune system. No need for a cold before surgery. Hopefully it's not a futile effort, I live in Boston and we just got hit with over 2 ft of snow. It was totally frigid today, and there's another 8-12 inches that's been forecasted for tomorrow evening. YAY SUPERBOWL SNOW! (NOT.) The vitamin C were also recommended and will be a daily part of my routine through my recovery, too.
4. Started to compile a list of groceries and easy foods that I might like/want for my recovery period. I'm thinking a lot of soups, crackers, orange juice, fruits, and cereal. I don't want to spend tons of money on tasty eats in case my stomach is senstive to the meds and I vomit it all up.
5. Ordered some Arnica Montana, Phillips stool softener, a large gel ice pack, and a heating pad from Amazon. I looked at wedge pillows too for sleeping, but is it really necessary? Will a bunch of regular pillows do just fine?
6. I've decided I'm more excited about this BA than I was about my wedding back in August. I started an instagram (@fabinfeb) so feel free to check it out. The posts are private, but I'll add you if you have a BA instagram or DM me from your personal one.
Attached are some consult pictures and the bras I ordered.
Thanks for reading!

I wish you the best my surgery is on feb 5th I'm so nervous. I'm getting 300cc hp. I originally wanted mind plus but my bwd is only 11 so I'm getting high profile and hoping for a natural look.
Oh man! Your surgery is tomorrow! I wish you the best of luck and I can't wait to see how you progress with your new figure. You are so petite and I think the 300ccs hp are going to be perfect! GOOD LUCK! GOOD LUCK! GOOD LUCK!

I haven't been on here for a while.
I ended up with 400cc HP textured under the muscle. I'm very happy with the results. I'm 4 months post op now :)))
The only thing I wish is that maybe I was a tad bigger lol but that was the largest implant I could go with.
When's your surgery date?
