I was in a car accident and shattered my chin. I have a metal plate in there now and it also resulted in nerve damage, causing my mouth to slant downward on the right side. I think my philtrum is somewhat an acceptable length to preform a lip lift on since no teeth show when I put my jaw ajar. I'd like some feed back from the community wondering if you think id be a good candidate for a lip lift. I'm 30 years old and I have a consultation on April 6, 2016 with a world famous surgeon in Boston who specializes in Feminine Facial Sugeries.

I've been thinking about getting a lip lift for a while now. I tried fillers. I didn't like them. I don't like the distance between my nose and mouth. I also don't have any upper tooth show when my mouth is ajar. I really want A lip lift and I'd like to just put my ego to rest and get it over with but of course I'm nervous about the results. So I'm just asking the community if you think it would look good on me. I've already found Dr. Spiegel who is an amazing doctor and I trust. Thanks!

Hi, I just had mine done by Dr. Spiegel yesterday if you want to follow how mine turns out.

I have the same issue... My lip droops on one side from a bone graft on a tooth and the periodontist cut up my whole upper area under my upper lip and now my mouth drops on one side. Please keep us posted as to who you like or use.....ill do the same. Thanks

I have the same exact issue where I had a bone graft done and the periodontist chopped up all the nerves and tissue underneath my lip and my right side trips now… If those of you who have had lip l I have the same exact issue where I had craft done and the periodontist chopped up all the nerves and tissue underneath my lip and my right side drips now… If those of you who have had lipless lifts could comment about whether or not a lift lift can make your lips symmetrical, that would be helpful… I might post something along these lines for a couple doctors like Dr Spiegel and see what he has to say about this issue… Please keep me posted if you find anything out as I'm also looking into the same thing.
I did hear that a Lip Flip which is a reversible procedure is also an option could potentially create symmetry of the lips when they're not symmetrical... I can find out more about this but you may want to Google a lip flip

Yes, I think you would benefit from a conservative lift. You're young and pretty and I think it would make just enough difference for you to really enjoy your looks.
If the nerve is not expected to improve, perhaps more mm of skin could be taken from the damaged side.
I'm sorry about your accident. :(

Hi, I got one done and it can affect your smile. It definitely will affect it right after and for a few months. But everyone varies. My smile still isnt back to normal and it's been 9 months- almost there though
