I have wanted this procedure since I was a teenager. Now, in my 20s, I'm finally doing it.
My nose: It's too large for my face, it has a ball shaped bulbous tip, it has too much cartilage at the tip, it's too long (overprojected, hence my user name), and it droops when I smile.
The consultations: I had consultations with three doctors that I've picked very carefully, after spending years reading reviews. I was told by all of them that I will not be able to make a drastic change because I have very thick skin on my nose and it doesn't shrink well. But two of them offered improvements and gave me morphed images of approximately the results I can expect.
My options: The two surgeons offered different approaches. Both said they would narrow my tip and make it less ball-shaped, which I'm happy about. One said he could de-project my nose a little bit, but he would slightly raise the bridge. This has me a little concerned because I feel like my bridge is already high. But he made it sound like it would be necessary.
The second surgeon said he would not de-project my nose, again citing the thick skin as the main issue. But he said he could bring down the bridge a little and narrow the tip and reduce nostril show from the side.
Advice I'm looking for: I have morphed images from both. Ideally, I would really want a nose that's almost flat and close to my face, but that's not an option for me. The changes would be very subtle either way. Out of the two options, which one looks better aesthetically?

I booked a surgery with the surgeon that gave me the first option for July 14th. Hoping for the best.

Day 1 and 2

The last 36 hours or so have been a roller coaster. I had the surgery, woke up very groggy but feeling ok. The doctor said it went really well. I took Emend before the surgery, but then ended up feeling a bit nauseous in the car anyway. When I got home, I stayed in bed for the rest of the day. Ate soft things. I took Norco and Zofran for pain and nausea. Had a really hard time sleeping at night. My mouth was extremely dry all night and I kept waking up and panicking. I had quite a bit of fleeding from my nose, but not enough for it to be serious.
Today I stopped taking Norco and it was rough. I took Tylenol instead. The pain was tolerable but I felt awful. I felt weak, nauseous and overall really bad. I ended up taking Norco again with Zofran and eating. I guess that was what I needed.
I've been feeling better since, but now I'm worried. What if I feel awful again? Does anyone have any tips for this? What can I do to keep my energy and good spirits up? What soft foods should I eat a lot of? Especially something that won't cause more bleeding from my nose. Chewing seems to increase bleeding.
Any tips for keeping nausea under control while taking Norco?
Sorry if this post is all over the place, my brain is not all there still.

I actually ended up booking with the first doctor a few days ago. (I didn't seem to be getting responses here and my mom and boyfriend liked the first option). I know it's a bit higher risk since he is de-projecting my nose and that seems to be a more complicated procedure. I hope it doesn't turn out terrible. And yes, he said he would put a thin strip of cartilage into my bridge to raise it slightly. I agree that the morphed photo looks more balanced, so I'm hoping for the best.
