Well I had the surgery and it's been a crazy ride. The first couple weeks I was mad I went through with it but now I am finally seeing this as a good start for me. I'm very happy with the results. I had a seroma that developed but I was able to find a doctor near me that is taking care of the seroma now. I am posting pictures of my tummy. My breasts have been a nightmare and I'm not ready to post pictures of those yet.

you look great!! so what a seroma?? im guesing you had your breast done as well?? so why was it so hard did you have complications?? im so sorry for asking many questions I just really need some help in need of knowing what to expect
A seroma is a pocket of fluid that forms that you have to have drained. My doctor took my drain out too soon and my body had not gotten rid of all the fluid yet. Also the nurse taking care of me showered me too soon and my aerolas developed an infection which caused my doctor to have to take my nipples off and now I am just left with a flat piece of skin for a nipple. I will post pictures soon I am just too embarrassed by it right now. The pain I had was very minimal. The only thing that was annoying was the healing process. It has taken a full 6 weeks for me to not have any soreness when it stand up. You are also very weak and you do not want to overwork yourself!

I saw dr Felipe Amaya in bogota Colombia. He was a great doctor but his after care was not so great. Because of the seroma I had to pay a doctor here 2500 dollars to treat me. The total costs with Dr Amaya was about 18,000 dollars. Much more expensive then America.

I went to him 2 times. Plus I stayed 16 days and my fiancé stayed 7 days. I had a tummy tuck breast augmentation and full lipo. The surgery cost about 8,000. But between flights and everything else total paid was 18,000.
Tell dr Felipe I said hi! He is great I love him!!! Just ask lots of questions. He does the tummy tuck the best. How long are you staying and what are you having done?

2 weeks is a great time. My name is missy. You will love it there. I hated the massages after surgery though but they were very helpful. Are you going alone or taking someone with you? I will say that after 2 weeks I was so ready to get home. Are you getting breast implants? That's the only thing I regret, I wish I had gotten them. I went twice because the first time I went he told me I would be fine with full body lipo but once I got there he said I needed a tummy tuck so I didn't have enough time off work so I had to reschedule. How did you hear about dr Felipe? I'm so excited for you. His tummy tucks are amazing. I literally had no pain from the tummy tuck.
Also do you speak Spanish? It was very difficult because I did not speak Spanish.

i don't know know anyone who went to dr felipe amaya, but he has a good reputation on the internet and also speaking to him and he answering all my questions make me very comfortable with him…

Tummy looks great! Why are your breasts been "a nightmare"?
Because my doctor did a free nipple skin graft and it completely ruined my nipples. I have no nipple and the skin is just flat. I just feel my boobs look very abnormal. I wish I had known what he was gonna do before the surgery because I would've questioned it more.

Tummy tuck and breast lift. Do you have any words of advice? When did you get your drains out that lead to your seroma? When did the nurse shower you after surgery? Is the doctor going to re do your nipples for you?
Dr Amaya is amazing. My only advice is ask lots of questions and make sure you are on top of your care. I relied too much on the nurses and I should've been more educated. He said he would fix my nipples but I found a dr close to me that will do them also. I don't want to spend more money on flying and staying at the hotel. He took my drain out after 7 days because it was very red. Again if I had been educated I would've known to clean it with alcohol. I was not prepared at all for surgery. Please keep me updated! You will love Felipe.
Your body looks really great. It's a dramatic difference and your figure is amazing. I can't even tell you got a tummy tuck since it looks so natural. Thank you for answering my questions. I fly out to Colombia in 4 days. I'm glad you were satisfied over all. I researched doctors in the US and most of tummy tucks didn't look as good compared to dr.amaya's work.

@ mabglitter- I booked everything more than a month ago and put a deposit down plus already sent him my flight info. He better know I'm coming! Haha! I live in Morris Plains. It would be nice to meet up after and swap stories. You don't need implants in my opinion. Your breasts look so full already. Why mess with awesome God given assets. ;)
@miluskam86 - I feel a bit nervous, bit excited. Mostly like it's not real yet. Haha. I will probably feel more nervous and excited when I get to Colombia. I just looked him up online. He seems legit and does great work. Especially lipo and tummy tucks. How did you find him? Do you speak Spanish? I don't and I had to use google translate for everything.

Yes i speak spanish , yeah im nervous too . But with so many doctora over there . I know God put dr amaya in my research for a reason . And like o said he is not cheap at all but sure colombians ps do better surgeries than here in the Usa .... they are the best over the best when talking about beutiful bodies and women

I felt pretty good at 7 days. I wouldn't really do anything before that because your body really needs to rest and recover. But after a week I felt good enough to go out to the mall and walk around. I will say immediately after surgery I felt great enough to do things but I got so tired so quickly that it wasn't worth it to push myself. It's a major surgery and you need to let your body have time to recover and not feel like you have to push yourself.
Yes we are going visit places wed ans thursaay friday morning is my surgery and then im goNna wait at least one week to go out again
Thanks for the updates, any better pics. I am considering Colombia, and Brazil as well. I am Asia based so travel costs all the same.

Here I am before my surgery. I have gained 30 lbs in the past year and am so upset with myself. As you can see my breasts are very droopy for a 26 year old and I have a lot of cellulite and stretch marks.

Take it from me (a licensed Marriage and Family therapist) if you do this for someone else you will not be happy in the end no matter how successful the surgery. Make sure you have realistic expectations as well. I am still going to have stretch marks after the procedure and my hubby of 10 years better love every single one! My surgery is on 11/8 so I'll be praying for you too ;-)
Thanks for your response! I think that I'm the one who is very realistic and my partner is not. I feel like he is expecting a miracle and I'm afraid that he will be disappointed. I try to tell him it's gonna help but it's not gonna make me perfect.
Oh sweetie, This has to be for you and only you. You have to love yourself and a good man will love you in all your forms without you making drastic decisions based on his wants. This isnt a decision for someone else to make. Good luck love, I hope you find the answers you need.
My first comment on rs and it defiantly has to be this one!!! I was 100lbs and over 7 years have gained 80lb. I have to tell you my husband has loved my body no matter what! He married me at my heaviest! In fact he is opposed to the surgery but supportive. I want to tell you one thing.. You are absolutely beautiful... You have put ur entire body up so we can see it and its really really fine the way it is!! You have curves like women are supposed to! Leave that jerk because what happens when something in your relationship changes? U get pregnant? He will leave you! You deserve way better than that! What a jerk! Have the surgery for you! If you don't want it don't get it! You are fine the way you are!
