Second Time Around

Headed for Round 2. Liposuction of the lower abdomen, upper back, flanks, thighs, arms, and butt restructuring. I've received quotes from both my prior doctor, Luis Mejia in DR, and Raphael Gomez in Colombia. Decided on Gomez because of his expertise and the ease of service he offers. Colombia bound

Deposit paid via PayPal which I like $500 to secure my date of 4/11/17. I'm obsessing over pictures of arms. I want a mini arm lift but he seems to think lipo will do the trick. I am convinced. I'm sick of the "shaky, squishes" as my son refers to my arms

Arrived in Bogota after two layovers about 2AM Sunday morning. Dora the caretaker stayed well pass her shift to ensure I was settled and comfortable. The driver was at the airport waiting on me and kept in contact the entire time since the airline kept changing my expected arrival time. Staying at a 3- bedroom apartment in a nice neighborhood close The a strip mall, with a grocery store, and pharmacy close. Monday I had an appointment at the clinic to meet with the anastesiologist(sp). Because I submitted my prior blood work showing my hemo at 11.9 I had to do additional labs there. I signed the consent forms for him to treat me. We (the caretaker and I) walked to the Faja Store which was not far. I bought faja, compression socks, lipo foam, a chin compression, and faja clearer for $125. The doctor came to the apartment that evening to do my consultation. He was very nice, and called Lilli, his daughter, to confirm understanding of the procedures. I paid via PayPal after the consultation. Day of surgery went back to the clinic accompanied by the nurse. Got changed in my gown and got my IV inserted. No one speaks English which is very frustrating but every is nice and you generally understand what is needed. Dr. Gomez came in and marked me up. I walked to the operating room. They sprayed me with cold antibacterial spray that makes you cough while they are preparing the room. I was freezing cold. After the bed was prepared they laid me down and put the mask on and I was out shortly. I awoke in a recovery room. There were three beds there. I don't remember much but feeling woozy when they got me up. They kept rubbing alcohol across my nose. They kept asking me to go urinate. When I did they called my nurse to come get me. I was in my faja. The nurse took me to the car and we came back to the apartment. I slept. I felt like I'd been hit by a bus.
Next day I showered and got a massage. I walked around the apartment several times during the day and night. You get a night and day nurse as well as the house caretaker. They wait on you hand and foot.
Today is day 2 post op. So far I'm not happy with how I look. I know I'm very swollen but I do not see any difference in my but, in fact it looks worse to me. The nurse and I went for a walk around the strip mall and it felt good to get out of the apartment. Both my roommates went home, so I have the apartment and staff all to myself. Hopefully my shape will form soon.
