It's been a month!!!! So I'm 95% back to normal. My skin still feels weird and my core strength is weak. But i'm back to lifting. If I get out of the compression garment, I swell back up. So I'm still wearing it about 16 hours per day. I'll do that for another week and then try to go to 12 hours per day. Improvement is substantial, but belly button looks like a yin-yang symbol rather than a belly button. I suspect that it will get better. I did two sessions of ultrasound therapy which does seem to help a little bit. Will do another update in a week. I suspect that by day 45 i'll post some good "after" pics.

Substantial improvement in swelling and bruising. I've been able to resume exercises that do not use my core too much. Largely walking, hiking, elliptical and cycling. I'm still not able to really use my core and feel like i can't stand erect. I think that's more of a function of skintite as a lot of energy got delivered to my abs. But it is getting better by the day. Weight is down to 1lb below procedure date. Pants size is almost down to my preprocedure fit. Pain is pretty much non-existent. Life is not yet back to normal as I'm substantially less active. I'm optimistic that by day 30 i'll be at 95% active again.

Really not much more of an update to report. Swelling going down slowwwwwly. Getting sufficient sleep has been a challenge but I'm starting to turn the corner. Compression garment, foam and wrap are tedious! Bruising is 75% gone. Belly Button looks like a yin-yang symbol. Still lack core strength to exercise! I have pics, but not really feeling like sharing them as they aren't great pics. But will do so once the swelling is mainly gone. I think some have accurately described this as an emotional roller coaster. Overall still feel like this is going to be super worth it, but it is a longer recovery and slower results than I was anticipating.
