Do Not Get Bodytite or J Plasma! Terrible Resuts!
I first met Dr. Hanz when I went for an airsculpt consult at Elite Body Sculpture in Dallas. He was one of the main doctors doing the procedure at that office. He said I was not a good candidate for an airscupt and that there was a perfect procedure that should take care of my not so firm skin, and I should come see him at his personal practice, which I did. We scheduled a lipo 360 bodytite procedure shortly. The procedure itself wasn't too bad. I was moving ok the very next day. You do have to wear a compression garment for a few weeks, which is obviously very uncomfortable and not pretty. I stayed sore for several weeks after, had to stop my workouts and take it easy. I was ok with that because I was hoping the result will be worth it. But it wasn't!
As I went to my 1, 3, 6 and 9 months follow ups, we could see that instead of looking better, my stomach looked worse: looser skin, more uneven and lumpy than before. (The second set of pictures is almost a year after the procedure). I felt terrible all summer of 2021, wearing one-piece swimming suits only, and feeling terrible about the way I looked.
Dr. Hanz suggested we do another procedure, J Plasma skin tightening, supposedly a better, newer technology. I agreed. They did take care of the cost this time. So, another procedure under anesthesia, same recovery time with a compression garment, soreness and discomfort for weeks. Fast forward to a 9-month checkup, my stomach still looks terrible. (Last 2 pictures) It may have slightly improved since the first procedure, but it definitely looks worse that the before pictures.
The doctor's next suggestion is to do a reverse tummy tuck, which will leave me with a scar that goes all the way across my body, under my breasts from one side of my ribs to another. Something I am absolutely not ready for. And I don't want to go through yet another recovery. They quoted this surgery at $15K (with facility and anesthesia fees). If I did want to go forward with this surgery, I would have to pay half. Since the first 2 procedures were a failure, and I did pay $7500 already, they gave me a discount.
I do not want to have another surgery and asked for my $7500 back. The reply was their practice policy is to provide a revision, not a refund. I am absolutely defeated and disappointed. I have been to that office so many times within the last 2 years...What was supposed to be a one-time procedure with 4 follow ups turned into a nightmare. Not only I wasted money and time, but my stomach also looks worse now than before.
Please research the procedure you are planning on doing, so you don't end up in my situation.
p.s. This review is mostly for the procedure, not the office. I do wish they would have returned my money since it was a complete waste and I look worse now and feel way more self-conscious than before the procedures.
