How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Chilly All Around — Plus Gaslighting
I made an appt for a consult on body contouring. When I arrived, Aubrey gave me a mirror and told me to point out what areas on my face bothered me. When I said I was there for a body contouring appt, they said I had to come back when the doctor was in the office. (I had obviously told them why on was coming when I booked the appt.) Aubrey and the receptionist were both cold (and coincidentally so is the entire office, temp-wise. Freezing in there!) but I re-booked because the doc is so well-rated here.
When I returned the second time, the doc was nice. Aubrey was still chilly (I don’t understand why she’s customer-facing; I literally went home both times wondering why she seemed to hate me) and I did the consult with the doc, Aubrey, and someone else in the room. (While I was undressed, Aubrey told me over and over again to get a spray tan; something she also told me on my first appt. I did not go in feeling pale, but I’ve felt weird about it ever since. I am relatively new to the south; is this a southern thing??)
I booked an appt for the body contouring that the doc recommend, and they also sold me some brightening pads for my face.
I have NEVER had an allergic reaction Iike this — see pics. And you know, that stuff happens; it was a new product. But as it got worse, Aubrey and then the doc herself both INSISTED it wasn’t the product, did I change my make-up, my laundry detergent, was it something I ate, etc. Obviously not. Finally the doc prescribed steroids and that cleared it up after about two weeks, although I had side effects from the steroids as well.
And here’s the thing; they made me feel like this somehow my fault? They absolutely refused to just, like, say, “Oh yeah this stuff happens sometimes.” As if I was the first person ever to have a reaction to an RX strength product? For crying out loud! I wasn’t even mad, I just wanted them to stop acting like this reaction on my face wasn’t related to the thing they prescribed for me to put on my face???
Once I finally got the steroid, Aubrey and the doc said they’d follow up with me, but no one did. Obviously I canceled the body contouring. (Receptionist didn’t care why; I would have told her if she’d asked. She was also just so abrupt and chilly.)
Re: cancelling — I could only imagine having a complication from body contouring and them being like “Oh, that’s not related to the invasive procedure we did, that must have been because of something you did!”
I mean listen: stuff happens. But it’s a huge red flag to me that they acted like it wasn’t their issue, they treated me like I was crazy, and that no one followed up with me even though they said they would.
This was a year ago now, and I’m still heated. I keep thinking of them because they keep signing me up for various marketing that I never opted into.
