Should Have Done It Sooner

I am a 63-year-old female from North Carolina. In January 2026, I had a Lower Body Lift with a rotational flap, butt reduction involving liposuction, and some skin removal performed by Dr. Agha.
Some people may ask, “Why would you go through all that?” Well, I have worked out my entire life. I go to the gym on a regular schedule, lift weights, cycle, and water-ski. I live an active lifestyle. All that being said, it did not matter. No matter what I did or how hard I worked, my butt, hips, and outer thighs always looked droopy and flabby.
My wonderful husband always said that I was beautiful the way I was, but he also knew I was not happy. As much as I loved and looked forward to summers, I dreaded the time when I had to put on a pair of shorts or a swimsuit. It was like I had two bodies — the top would tone, but my bottom would not!
As I aged, I felt like my butt was getting bigger and softer. I realised I was never going to be able to tone or tighten my butt, hips, and thighs on my own.
My husband and I started looking around at local doctors. We found some, but it never felt quite right. We kept searching until I came across Dr. Agha’s website. We read the reviews and saw photos of his work. Everything looked amazing. What really caught my attention was the number of Lower Body Lift procedures Dr. Agha had performed compared to other surgeons.
We set up a Zoom meeting with Cassondra, where we talked about some of the procedures they offer and, of course, the cost. We were about to schedule a Zoom consultation with Dr. Agha when I suddenly got cold feet. Instead of doing the Zoom meeting, my husband said, “I think we should go meet the doctor in person.”
I met Dr. Siamak Agha on October 10, 2025, in his office. The meeting included an in-depth consultation where I showed him the areas that bothered me — my butt, hips, and thighs. We talked about what he thought would help make my body more proportional to my size, which was the Lower Body Lift.
Over the next couple of weeks, my husband and I talked about it a lot. I also called the office many times and spoke with Laura, Chelsea, Cassondra, and Cristela. They all listened to my concerns and were incredibly helpful.
In January 2026, I had my procedure. I’m happy to say that I am now six weeks out, and everything is going very well. I could not be happier with the results. For the first time in my life, I actually like my butt. My large lateral hips and thighs are gone.
My husband and I joke that after all the years of covering up and hiding my butt and hips, I now parade around the bedroom naked, proud of my new body.
And I can’t forget — Dr. Agha made a recommendation. He said that with all that extra fat, it would be a shame to waste it! My breasts have also received a little boost and are now round and perky. I had a fat transfer to my chest, and I love it.

At my four-week visit, Dr. Agha joked that if I had come to see him sooner, I would not have had to work so hard in the gym all those years.
Now my hard work goes into toning up and keeping everything in shape.
I look forward to summer in a whole new light and can’t wait to go shopping for a new bathing suit.
We are now back home, and it has been eight weeks since my surgery. I just received my before-and-after photos, and I cannot believe the difference. It made me cry happy tears.
