Has he offered to correct that?
Was the tissue necrosis caused by infection or damaged blood supply? If infection, was it cultured? And which microorganism was involved. I'm so sorry this happened to you.
Looks like it healed up well after the wound opened. Unfortunately many of us have complications, it a part of any surgery. Sorry it has caused you so much mental anguish. I hope you can get it to look like you want it to look. God bless
Those wounds look necrotic...

Anyone with even basic medical training can observe that the wound was deteriorating even before dehiscence began. There are simple yet effective methods of monitoring circulation and skin integrity and this “surgeon” FAILED you exponentially. We all engage in surgery with different end goals but one thing we can all agree on is that we don’t pay people to disfigure our bodies and than carry on with no proprietary whatsoever as is the case with this bogus surgeon who needs to be investigated YESTERDAY! I’m so sorry this happened to you and it’s only my hope that you continue to heal and maybe consider requesting full refund and compensation for injury and all the above.

Having performed more than 200 of these cases, I can assure you that this type of complication is not rare or unusual. Allow for healing and schedule a scar revision. The prelinary results looked fantastic,. Great job, Dr. Agha! Keep up the good work

Um, Erik J: does that mean the lack of "after care provided" to her was also not a rare complication??? It's disappointing you didn't offer any sympathy for her pain and suffering. However, you did give a clear view of what we can expect from your practice. So I thank you.

Exactly, I was really surprised to see such callous comments. But he did us all a favor, we know to stay far, far away from both of them.
My heart hurts for Calpert7. I can't imagine the physical, then to be subjected to the terrible psychological issues from the Dr.'s, she's a strong, good woman, extremely brave to share with the rest of us. ♡

What do you thin happened then? Over cauterization? Damage to too many blood vessels causing oxygen to not be able to get the the tissue? Some kind of infection? What treatment could have been done to lessen the severity? Hyperbaric chamber? I'm curious. Do tell since you said it happens less than infrequently.

Body Lift Nightmare

In 2016 I had a lower body lift with Dr. Agha that left me permanently scarred physically and mentally. I have huge scars all along my back and sides and have constant pain around the incision areas as well as numbness and shooting pain down my leg over 4 years later. I have spent thousands of dollars on nursing care, hyperbaric treatments and on wound bags after surgery. I wanted to finally share my story because people rarely ever post when there is an issue and I’m sure there are more stories like mine.

Thank you for sharing, I'm so very sorry for the horrible ordeal you've had to endure. This is my biggest fear and the one thing that holds me back. It looks like everything is closed now? I hope the pain fades in time and you feel better
Thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately, the pain and numbness are still very much present 4 years later. The wounds are finally healed but I am left with huge scars all along my back and sides. :(
OMG, I feel for you. May I ask if this Dr.'s insurance had taken care of the medical bills you had accumulated ?
No, unfortunately I paid for all the aftercare. Hyperbaric treatments, home nursing, wound vac and much much more.
I am so unbelievably sorry for this. If it's of any help though, I know the scars suck but you do have a really nice contour to your body at least.
I appreciate that but I’m actually more ashamed of my body now than I was before the surgery. I would do anything to go back to my pre-surgery body. It’s a constant reminder of the horrific time I went through. Also, as I mentioned already, the constant pain and numbness still continues.
Omg I had the same thing happen to me almost as bad as yours. So this doctor and his wife only care about the money. He did not used drainage tubes and i had the same thing happen with my body lift. I got infected and scarred . Also i had inner thigh lift and developed suromas because he did not use drainage tubes. Took me 2 years to recover and i was in and out of Hospitals . I did have some surgery here in pittsburgh and recovered so well didnt even take a antibiotic. I regretted so bad not using my original surgean here in Pittsburgh. I drove all the way to NewPort Beach only to suffer. Never will I use this doctor again
I’m so sorry to hear that you also went through this. I wish more people would have shared their stories and experiences before I had my surgery. People are always willing to share the good but ashamed to share the bad. I needed to share my story for this reason.

I am sooo sorry for this terrible situation!! I cannot imagine all the pain you must have suffered. Please this is so scary that it can happen to someone else, did you report him to the licensing board? Future patients need to know the truth, this is so scary.
I am hoping people considering will see this and take caution. There have been others who this has happened to who have reached out publicly and privately. It’s so scary!
