Best Decision I Could Have Made
After losing over 130 pounds my (63 year old) body looked like a melted candle . I went to Dr Sauceda for a lower body lift and breast augmentation with implants. AKA "Granny Lift". It was the decision I would have made.
I want to add that I'd already had my upper arms and thighs done here in Oregon. Though it cost a small fortune the result where, and continue to be FAR less than desirable. Enough said for now, but I will eventually review that experience with Dr Keith Neaman in Salem Oregon as well.
First off, I want to say that Mexican hospitals are different from American hospitals, not better or worse, just VERY different. I had a hard time in the hospital and was probably a difficult patient mainly because I wasn't prepared. This was especially true of being confined to my room when I was used to, (and expecting to) be allowed to be up and wandering around freely as we do in America hospitals. That being said, there is no comparison between recovering when you get 5 days of full care in a hospital vs going home just 5 hours after a 6-7 hour surgery.
The surgery package really includes everything. The hotel offered a nice breakfast with plenty of choices. The room was large and spotless clean. Patty, Dr's nurse, came to the hotel for daily bandage changes. She was always prompt, gentle and kind. But, most importantly, cannot say enough good things about Dr Sauceda.
His work is truly excellent. In contrast to my previous surgeon who spent less than five minutes marking my upper arms and thighs, Dr Sauceda spent over an hour doing his markup. His stitching was very fine. He is truly a master of his craft. The results were far better that I thought possible.
I woke up from the anesthetic (conscious sedation) fully alert. There was none of the nausea, head ache or confusion I've had with past ageneral anesthetics.
The post surgery pain control was amazing. I am a veteran of countless joint repairs and four total joint replacements and this was the least post op pain I've ever experienced.
It's been almost two years since my two procedures. there is no visible scaring in my breast at all and just a fine flat line around my lower body. And, though I've lost an additional 30 pounds, my (now 65 year old) skin is still tight and smooth. My new belly button is adorable.
There were so many surgeons to choose from but choosing Dr Saucedo was the best decision I could have made.
Well...I can't seem to post photos now, hopefully I can come back and edit this to add them later.
