8 weeks post op Lower Body Lift

So I hit 8 weeks a few days ago. I feel amazing! I went from a size 12 to a size 6 and I’m absolutely loving getting dressed up now! I used to dread looking for clothing to cover up my excess skin. I’m still taping my scars for protection and using a silicon gel to help it along. I can bend freely now with no pain. I’m still not twisting much, as I don’t want to disrupt my muscle repair. I swell a lot during the day, but that’s to be expected. Waiting for the 3 month mark to see more final results!

6 weeks post op!

I made it! 6 wpo as of yesterday. I’m so happy with my results. Dr. Soto is amazing!! I’ll admit, in the beginning I was worried about my shape. I had to keep reminding myself that it was just swelling. When I took pics of myself today, I was so happy and amazed to see my curves! I’m feeling great! I still have some itching and redness from healing and the tape irritation but that’s about it. I can go without my garments if I want, however I’ve chosen to keep them on for extra shaping. :)

4 week update

Today I am 4 weeks, 1 day post op. I’m feeling good. My hips are sore from the drain sites still but it’s not too bad. My incisions are looking great! Especially my rear incision. It’s so flat and thin! My only issue is the extreme itching. It’s almost enough to make me crazy right now and I can’t take Benadryl.. I’m still quite swollen but I’m starting to see more shape in my hips. They put me into a smaller waist trainer which I’m happy about. I’m hoping it will sculpt me a lot more. At my next appointment, they will most likely remove sutures from my belly button, woohoo! Still sleeping in my recliner because my bed is so incredibly soft that it takes more core strength to get up. That’s about it for now though. Not much else has changed. Pics added!
