Lower Body Lift

I had vertical gastric sleeve surgery December 2014 with Dr Steven Boyce with New Life Center for Bariatric Surgery. I’m 5’6”, HW 277, LW 133, CW 135. I’ve been at my current weight for 2 yrs and am ready to begin the next step of my weight loss journey. I’ll begin with a LBL, next breast lift/implants, and then would like to follow up with an inner thigh/arm lift. I’ve lost all this weight but I still don’t want to show my body for all the loose skin. I was never overweight until I was an adult and have always had smaller breasts. They were larger when I was larger but have totally deflated into nothing more than loose hanging skin at this point. I’ve had 3 pregnancies/c-sections. My surgery is 2 weeks from now and getting really excited and anxious at the same time! I have chosen to go with Dr. Jason Hall with Knoxville Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery. I had my pre op appointment with him a few days ago and am ready for surgery!

I Did It!

Yesterday was the big day! I had my lower body lift completed and the after effects are pretty much what I’d anticipated. The surgery itself lasted about 6 hours. The doctor said my skin was in such great shape that I didn’t have to come home with the drain tubes I had initially anticipated. They sent me home in a nice tight girdle and I haven’t removed it yet. I don’t remember a thing from yesterday but today has been better. I’ve gotten up and used the restroom several times and walked a lap in the house every time I got up. My pain pills re pretty much keeping the pain under control with just a little break through pain about an our before my next scheduled dose. I’m excited and nervous about taking my binder off and seeing the results but I plan on doing it tomorrow along with a shower. Dr. Hall and all of his staff have been so kind and thorough through this process. His nurse, Lacey, responded promptly when I had question last night and she has called twice to check on me. I’ll try to take some pictures tomorrow during my reveal!
