So I finally decided to take the plunge and get rid of these hollows that have been annoying me for 3 years now. I read many horror stories on this site of people going for filler injections to correct the under eye area and ending with issues that were far worse than their initial concern. For this reason I was very diligent about doing my research and had multiple (5) consultations. I had a very positive experience so here is my advice if you are considering having this procedure done.
1. Go to a specialist! Find a facial plastic surgeon or occuplastic surgeon in your area.
2. Ask how they will inject the filler. From what I learned, it should be injected using a cannula in your cheek and "threaded" through the eye area under the muscle. Only one puncture in the skin is needed, not multiple near your eye (ouch!) This reduces the risk of bruising and the chance of experiencing the tyndall effect.
3. The product doesn't need to be massaged in if it placed correctly. It doesn't move! Where it is placed, is where it will stay so if you have an injector who places little dots of filler and then massages it in, it won't give you a good result and you will most likely have lumps.
4. Don't drink alcohol or take any aspirin for a week before and ice and arnica immediately after
I am so happy I got up the nerve to finally get this done, what a difference it made- I don't look tired anymore! Good luck and feel free to message me if you have any questions!

Still loooking good! I don't think that is has honestly changed a bit since August and i'm very glad I did it. I went back and forth for 2 years debating and I wish I had it done a long time ago. so if it's something that bothers you, I say go for it!
