Lip Injections W/ Juvederm Ultra XC - Boca Raton, FL

My lips have always been full and wide but when I got my lip ring it seemed as if that right lower lobe remained fuller for whatever reason. It had the same look it had when it was still swollen so with nursing school I literally took everything out. Since the Kylie Jenner craze I thought wth I would NEVER do something like that. I decided to do my research on where to go and the only place that I could think of in a short period of time was Ideal Image in Boca Raton Florida. I couldn't find any black women or black women with good results so I prayed after I had my consultation. If you google black women or African women with lip injections you can't find anything. With good digging I found two women on YouTube but the videos were terrible. I would've [RS bleep] my procedure but I couldn't so I took pictures like a maniac. She applied a numbing cream and I literally rubbed my lips together when she left in fear that I'd feel pain. Even the tip of my tongue started going numb. My PA was Kim Allison she was very kind, patient and she understood me. I didn't have to go in being phony and nod and smile even if she jacked me up. I didn't do quite a full syringe because my lips are naturally full but I thought man $450 you betta shove the whole thing in there but I said as much as I prayed I can't be a fool and ruin them either so I let her use her good judgement and told her what I wanted. I did experience bruising in that same bottom lip right corner. I slept with that ice pack she gave me. Everyday I'd ice up but when it hit 3,4 days I said oh heck no this bruise is not what's up. I went back to google and decided to buy the arnica she told me to buy and I did several warm compresses because my major swelling is gone. Doctors say two weeks to fully heal but I just know my swelling is all gone. My lips are naturally big and look fatter in the morning but after I brush my teeth for whatever reason they go down. I just wanted that fluffiness to stay so today is July 13, 2016.Today is my 9th day and I know how it looks now is how it's going to be until this stuff wears-out. Would I do it again yes but it's something that requires patience. I had anxiety like a mother-lover. I laughed so much it's not even funny. I couldn't wait to get it done but I was going crazy after like wth did I do "I'm black...and black people don't do these things...God I promise I love myself" ugh. I'm better now , physically and emotionally. My bruises are almost all gone. By my 14 day mark I know for a fact my lip will be all good. My pain began at 0 until she switch needles to give me volume and it shot to a 4. I wanted a pout and more defined Cupid's bow. I must say she did the darn thing and I love my results. I advise you all to ice your mouth prior, no alcohol, no aspirin....I threw away the paper she gave me unfortunately but if I find another one I'll upload it. Warm compresses for bruises but make sure you ice nonstop for 3 to 4 days.
