i am 42 i want to do surgery but hesitent bec eveyrone might need it again in 10 years so not sure.. did you have those thoughts?? any compliations?? thoughts??
July 16, 2018
No, I would rather enjoy it now at 44 than wait until it was really noticeable later. My doctor completely agreed that I did have a good amount of skin to remove and it is genetic. A couple of my family members have the same overhanging skin on their eyelids. If I need it again in 10 years, which I hope not, I will do so with Dr. Dardano! I had no complications at all. I understand your concerns and some of my friends were worried about the same thing, but I didn't see the point in waiting. My skin looks young, my body looks young, so I needed to match my eyes while I can! :) Good Luck to you!

did your friends end up getting it or waiting?? i only have mild to moderate so it woudl bbe cosmetic not medical for now. but eyes look sor t of "small " because of it but they never big to begin with.. most likely everyone will need it again.. that is a huge conern only because when they do it a second time it come could be more compliated etc, did the doctor talk about that .???. the most it last is 10 years. most people if they get it in 40s need it again. i thought about that to enjoying it in my 40s but dreading having to go through it a 2nd time im torn
.what did your friends do?
July 18, 2018
Two of my friends have already done it. No, my Doctor did not mention that to me. I can ask him for you though ;) Most of my friends are in their 50's and they are having it for the first time in a few months. Another friend of mine had it when she was 40 and looks great still 5 years later. I really needed it as you see from my photo and it made a huge difference especially when I am applying my makeup. It is so much easier now without all of the extra skin. :)

yes can you ask him?? yeah your friend only 5 years in can you ask her for me what i said since im about her age your 40 year old friend?? i would appreciate it and if she had mild to moderate skin like i do or she needed it medically?? i dont need it for medical reasons at all!! but i might in the future even th ocular plastic surgeon told me "honestly " if i were his sister he would tell me just to wait!!.... but he understands and respects wher eim coming from.. my eye looks soo much smaller than years ago.. i was thinking of seeing if i can have any filler above the eye or sides to make it look better, bigger, but i dont think i want botox... too risky by the eye. im torn. yes if you can tell your dr i only have mild to moderate.. he would only be taking a little very little bit of skin off. i never had big eyes but they would look like they did years ago if i had it done... im surprised your doctor didnt talk about needing it again in 10 years.. my dr very through gives risks/benefits very detailed. i trust he would do a amazing job but is it worth it to need again in 10 years just scary to think about getting my eye basically cut open twice!!
thanksf ro your help

Your eye surgery results are awesome!! Lovely Lovely Lovely!! I live near Boca and have 2 questions... Total price all in and was anesthetic local or were you fully put under?? Thank you!!
July 23, 2018
Hello! Thanks so much! Love the results!! I had Propofol for anesthesia at the hospital, so I was under anesthesia for it. I know some people can get local for it though. Anesthesia was $500, Room fee was $800, and I will get back to you with the Physician fees.
July 24, 2018
I apologize I had some of the numbers wrong. The total was $4,250.00 including anesthesia and hospitals fees. Good Luck to you!

Thank yku for taking the time to provide concise details in the pricing and even the specific anesthesia. Much appreciation to you!

Ok, I spoke to my doctor and he said, not necessarily, it all depends what was done and how much skin was removed at the time of the initial surgery. However, he did not say I will need it again in 10 years. My 40 year old friend did not hear from her doctor that she may need again in 10 years either. I hope this helps! Are you in the area?
July 25, 2018
yes i saw but you mentioned you would ask the dr what we ddiscussed. my first 3 questions in my last post
