Is it every day three? it feels like a week! I had my first surgical follow-up visit today. Things are healing nicely and look good. I have posted my after photos.

I have one small blister on my back from the Bandage and Binder rubbing. And I started with hives last night apparently a reaction to one of the medications. So it's Vaseline for the blister and Benadryl for the reaction.

After reading other reviews on this website I was a little worried about the pain of removing the binder. My girdle has two zippers ,one on each side, and it was effortless and not painful...thanks be to God. My drains are going to stay in for a few more days. The doctor wants volume to drop below 30 in total before we pull them out. I am managing with them and they are not really as bothersome as I thought they would be.

I was really tired today. I'm not sure what that was all about or if it was the Benadryl; but I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

God bless you. I am scheduled for my BBL in December. I had TT in January. And I am 60. We want to look good at any age and for some of us this is the time. Be patient with your body as you heal.

Thank you for the words of advice. Are you doing a fat transfer again in December for the BBL? I send you warm wishes for a desirable outcome and fast healing!!

Thanks! Each day post op is better. I am excited but also wanting to rush forward to 4 months when I know everything is settled and final size. I guess that's normal. And, as the saying goes…."time flies".

I was amazed at how much better I felt this morning. My friends helped me sponge bath and dress. I was able to eat some yogurt and tolerate the meds. I tried extra strength Tylenol but it was too soon. So at 2 pm I todo the pain meds and a nap. The fatigue hits after each walk. I am walking about every hour and a half then resting the same amount.
My drains are not overly bothersome and I'm happy about that. My back was draining a little from the cannula holes but seems to be slowing now.
Thanks all for your words of encouragement. It means a lot.

You are an inspiration. I am 63 and chicken [RS bleep], but after following you I feel more confident about this being a possibility for me too. Thank you for sharing your journey. Sending you blessings for prompt, minimally painful recovery and a big hug, Gina

The best thing we can do for ourselves is not always the least pain. I say go for it. I am in the first 48 hours and still would do it again. Thanks for the blessings...I am sure they are giving me this strength. Big hugs back at you...

Well I'm sitting here at about 10 o'clock at night and just doing a check to make sure everything in preparation for surgery has been done. Now that all the tasks are done I'm focused on getting on with the show. I have finally swallowed my pride and posted some before pics so that when you see me in the after pics you can best appreciate the new and improved body.
I am so looking forward to this procedure as it has been my dream for a long time.
I apologize for the pics being a little off . I took them myself - which for those of you who have done this before - is not an easy thing to do.
I will add a post surgical note as soon as I am coherent and able to talk. Send all your good karma my way!!

Kudos to you! The main thing I love about this site is the different ages and races on here...all with a common bond of wanting to just feel better about ourselves. I'm in my 40s and you can bet believe if I need to do a nip and tuck here and there then that's what I gonna do :). Looking forward to seeing your results and wishing you a safe and speedy recovery. We all heal differently and luckily you'll have an abundance of tips from all these women.

You are so right! My surgery was delayed just a couple of hours but was done in 4 1/2. I arrived home around 5:30 and went straight to bed. I did have some nausea from meds without eating all day. Goods new is the nausea meds worked immediately. I tried to eat but could not get more than a coupe do carrots and potatoes from the great homemade vegetable soup from a friend. Took pain meds at bedtime and slept until pee time at 5:30 am. Went right back to sleep until 7. So, not bad.
