Well everything is going well, healing beautifully. Getting stronger every day, can do most things now, just heavy lifting and vacuuming I have to be careful with. I'm really really pleased with my explant and will never look back! I got the results from the capsules which were sent away for testing and they had an infection in the capsule, im so pleased they are gone!

Hi all, sorry for not getting online until now. I've been struggling with the affects of the anaesthetic and drugs etc. I always do and knew this would happen, it takes a good week to get out of my system and I just don't react well to them. Get low blood pressure afterwards and have to stay in hospital longer etc.
But the good news is my explant went well, I was in there for about 3 hours, implants were in tact no ruptures, he managed to remove 99% of both capsules and said everything looked fine. I haven't spoken to my surgeon yet but the nurses and doctor told me this info. I see him in 10 days to check dressings and ask any questions etc. My drains came out after 2 days and im healing well with not too much pain. My boobs actually look fine, I thought they would look much worse! They are very small probably a AA cup but I don't care I like them :) glad to not have the toxic bags anymore.
With regards to my health I am feeling pretty lousy! Really tired, fatigued and brain fog etc. I struggle with a bad candida overgrowth for a couple of years ongoing and general fatigue etc so this has worsened since the op and the drugs which I knew it would. I didn't react well to the drugs, strange symptoms which are clearing up day by day but it all takes a hit on your body I guess and it will take time to recover. Each day is getting a little easier though so that's all I can ask for.
Some of my breast illness symptoms have gone away already. The night sweats have totally gone since day of explant and so have the pins and needles and nerve pains in my arms. The rest I will have to wait and see as I recover and start my detox as im so washed out from the op/drugs/candida its difficult to say whats what at the minute. The candida is in my chest so this makes me feel really unwell and did long before explant so will take some time to get well from this and will feel ill as this dies off from the anti fungals. I will keep updating you as time goes on. But I am happy with the explant and so so so pleased they are out. Healing well and itching like mad all over my chest, so that's a good sign!

I hear you on the anisetic! They kicked me out of the hospital just 2 hours after being put out, shot me full of morphine and swallowed 2 other pain pills and wheeled me out to my car,,,In Canada in day surgery they try to dump you as quickly as they can. They were almost abusive in nature about it too. Yelling at me to get dressed and I could not even focus They had me so high on drugs. I could not believe recovery nurses could be so cruel. Oh well its over now. Someday I hope they get the same treatment when they are incohirant,,,,I always believe what goes around comes around.
I am feeling pretty good today. I pray you symtoms clear right up for you:)

Wow that's terrible how they treat you there! I had 2 nights in hospital, wanted to go home after 1 night but my surgeon wanted me to stay as I had to have IV fluids as my BP was so low, and they wanted to keep an eye on me.
Im glad your went well too and your feeling good, really pleased for you! We made it! Yay, now just the long road to recovery for me, but the worst is over now for us both :) xx

Yes my great grandparents should have stayed in Great Britian,,haha Nurses in Canada are not held accountable on how they treat people,,through their unions. We have free health care but mostly treated not very nice by nurses and doctors here.
In 50 years I have seen only two doctors that had some kind of kindness and honest caring, the last being the surgeon to take these out. Canada does have its problems.
Yes we made it! No more fake stuff for me. Watching food documentrys while I can,t do much. Food is a big healer.:)
Our bodies were made so resiliant and get over so much.:)
We can be really healthy again,,this does not have to be permanent. Hope your feeling much much better soon.

Hi everyone, getting very nervous now as my explant is tomorrow. I have to be there for 7am and im really hoping I don't have to wait too long to go down the theatre. Really can't wait for this to be over and out the other side! I'm a worrier and always think the worst may happen! Urrgggg!
Just thought I would let you know I wont be online tomorrow and possibly have a 2 night stay in hospital if needed but hoping just the 1 night. So may not have internet access for a couple of days.
