I am getting a full TT with Liposuction. I am nervous and excited along with a little guilty for spending the $ on myself. I've been waiting for 17 years since my oldest was born to have it fixed. It just kept getting worse with each kid. Now it doesn't matter how much weight I lose - I still have this massive pooch.

I've been trying to get my house in order, laundry done, some meals made ahead of time and cleaning out of the way. I don't want my husband to have to do much more than take care of our little ones while I am recovering. I am feeling guilty for not being able to do much and for spending the $ on myself. There are so many more things that this could go towards. Does everyone feel that way? I'm sure they do. I just know I cannot continue looking this way. It is hard to work out and not get anywhere. Please tell me the guilt fades!

I totally hear you about the money. That's where most of my anxiety lies. Mine isn't scheduled until June 22nd. I'll be following your progress!

I will keep updating. I love reading other's reviews and I hoped doing one would help someone else. What procedures are you having done?

Hi I'm so glad I read how you feel as need to make a decision for surgery on the 25th April but like you I am feeling guilty about the cost and also the fact that I am 53yrs old and should I be doing this at my age ?! Although a TT is something I have dreamed of having done for years.

I've been wanting this done for years. My husband and I agreed that after we have our last child I would have the surgery. Our last child was born 12/2015 so we decided I would use this years tax return for it. We have ALWAYS used our return to pay towards vehicles or house other bills. Not this year! I carried for beautiful babies and endured 4 c-sections - it's time to fix me. I do not think 53 is too old at all!!! Go for it - get it done and once you see that "after" shot - you won't regret it!

Today I go in to have my iron levels rechecked. When I was in for pre-op it was considered low at 10.something. I was on day 2 of my period which is quite heavy. I started iron pills and my doctor started me on b/c saying said it would lighten my periods which should help with me being so tired all the time. I was chalking my constant lethargy to being a SAHM to a 1 year old and soon to be 3 year old who a lot of the time do not sleep through the night (like last night). I realize now that having low iron was a big culprit and explains my cycle. I am suuuper tired after my period for a couple of weeks then back to normal for a couple of weeks then repeat. We will see if my theory is right with today's blood draw....I am hoping it's where it needs to be for surgery on Thursday. My doctor made it sound like as long as it doesn't go down we will be ok. I will keep you all posted! Two days away from surgery! Nervous and excited!!
