MiraDry

A few factors motivated me to have the miraDry procedure done. Throughout my life I have been a "nervous sweater" which can make a person extremely self conscious and lower their self esteem. My line of work can also cause excessive sweating with the amount of physical activity and layers of clothing. I had a few friends that had done the procedure and said the results were life changing and they would do it again without hesitation.

I was a bit nervous/apprehensive having the procedure done. I was very concerned about the pain of the procedure and recovery time. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of the procedure. As with most medical procedures, I was concerned with the discomfort of the procedure. Pain and/or discomfort was minimal (Would rate at a 2 on a scale of 1-10) due to the area being numbed prior to the procedure.

Post procedure I did have a fair amount of swelling the next morning. I would recommend following the doctors recommendation of using ice packs and Advil for the inflammation. I am currently one week post procedure and am still slightly sore but able to work without any accommodations.

Results have been phenomenal. I can honestly say I have not experienced and sweating since the procedure.
