Hi there. I am booked to have a drainless tummy tuck with Mrs CC Kat in The Priory Hospital Edgbaston, Birmingham, GB, this Friday 28th April 2017. My experience so far has been great. I have no complaints. Mrs Kat's work appears to be of a very high standard from what I can see on this website.
I am a lone parent. I had six babies (one set of twins) in six and a half years; five births (including two caesareans). I love to keep fit and have always worked out. However, my abs have taken a battering and are less than attractive. I can get them to a level of fitness but if I take my pedal off the metal for a week, it all goes to the floor (literally). I'm tired of always wearing loose tops and holding coats, bags, etc., over my 'problem' area. I want to feel good about me again. My babies are ages 14 down to 8 years and it's time to sort me out now :D)..... I am so very excited about this!!!

Congratulations on doing this! Good luck for a great recovery! I will be watching your progress so please keep us updated, can't wait to see your results! Is the price for your surgery in sterling? Are you having any lipo with your procedure? Xx

Hi szlid, yes that's Sterling and it includes lipo. Thanks for the good wishes. Hopefully my results will encourage anyone sitting on the fence. It's a big step but I'm feeling really positive. Are you going for it yourself?
April 24, 2017
Yeah planning to, my surgeon is London based, the price is 3,500 more than yours so I will be looking at your results and wondering about options, its a lot more so.....I'll have to think carefully about it xx

Hi dibble69! I've followed your posts and I have to say you have inspired me the most. Your results are superb. You well deserve it because you obviously work hard and take good care of your body. Full respect! I'm sitting in pre-assessment now. Not nervous at all, just very excited. Thanks again for your wonderful updates and very helpful info. I'll keep posting. I'll be on my own most of the time as my kids are at school so this website will be my main source of mental and emotional support

Good luck! You'll come out with the best belly button you ever had!! For me, the most uncomfortable part was the garment going "up" because I'm 6ft. And the biggest disappointed was that morphine just makes me instantly fall asleep ;) you're in very safe hands

Aw thank you rowbow. I have read all your posts as well! I read you were a little disappointed at one stage but did it all go right in the end for you? I think you've had outstanding results from the pics. Thank you for the message. It's very encouraging to hear from you guys who've come through the other end! Xx

Hey - I'm happy with my tummy, but I am disappointed with some aspects. Mainly, she didn't do my hips evenly and wouldn't accept responsibility for that. I felt that perhaps she could have been better about it. But, overall, I'm happy. I have some unevenness on my tummy by the scar but I have come to realise this is because of ligaments and things. I'm really skinny on my tummy, so things stick out. But when I look at other surgeons work on other people, I feel like I got great results. For one, some people have crazy high scars and mine is nice and low and well hidden. Also, belly buttons by mrs Kat are fantastic. Other people, the belly button really gives it away. You'll have a nice natural one :) all I can say is that you will be swollen for months. I was bigger post op than pre op for about 5 months!! This can be upsetting and then suddenly it all just settles. So be patient. Also, Pilates at 3 months is great. You'll struggle but keep at it :) that's how you get good definition. I couldn't even lift both feet up while on my back after my op. But I kept at it and got really strong. Your muscles take a hit so love them after :) and be patient. It'll take 6 or more months to really see your tummy for what it is x

Hi, sorry I was travelling yesterday. Yes I can you have great definition. It's good to know after the six month recovery I can really up my training. I do Pilates now so I'm hoping my muscles will remember because there's no evidence as things are at the moment ;)

Hi, all went well as far as I know. I'm still really groggy after not much sleep last night. I'll update tomorrow hopefully xx

Hi, just got your message from Marg... I've been thinking about you too missus!! Lol I'm 100% better today, yesterday I was soooo nauseous I only managed some crackers, not a good look with a dry mouth. I've managed a trip to the bathroom today and been for a short stroll down the hall. Thanks for reaching out, I didn't want to be shouting momo9 down the hall!!

Haha! Good to hear from you. Leanne just popped to say you were asking. Glad all going smoothly for you. I've gone to the toilet twice and got really nauseous and light headed each time. I hope to feel better tomo. Tramadol is horrendous. Just on paracetamol now. Chat tomo. Have a good sleep xx

Day 2

User Avatar

Well I'm not going to lie. Day one was very tough. Pain is bearable and after two doses of Tramadol I opted out and stuck with the paracetamol. I had three dizzy spells where my. Blood pressure plummeted. Straight back to bed for me. The hardest part is getting my breathing going again. I don't mean it's dangerous but it does take some effort so the sooner you're up and out of bed the easier it is. Day 2 is going much smoother. I've washed myself. Still very very tired but I think that's understandable. I'll be heading home tomorrow.

Hey, glad things are on the up, I remember barely nothing from the first day after my Rhinoplasty, it was all a dizzy swirly hangover! Take it easy, if the room starts spinning, sit down and have a cold damp flannel to hand to put over eyes/head, I know its a different surgery but it helped me regain a sense of control and stop from feeling faint! Happy healing xx
