Let me start off by saying I have lost 120 pounds thanks to gastric sleeve surgery last July. Best decision I have ever made in my life! I am 5'4" and I weigh around 170. I eat size 8-10 jeans and I feel great at this size. I am 27 and have had 3 c-sections and now have a huge "pouch". No one believes me because I hide it well with clothes . I am tired of hiding!! I have had 3 different consults in the Birmingham area and have decided on Dr. Beckenstein. His whole office staff has been amazing! Since my pouch hangs so low they are trying to get part of my procedure covered by my insurance. I will have to pay for the muscle tightening but that's ok with me. I will post pics soon!!

Wanting to drop 15 pounds before surgery. I don't have a date yet but I would like to get there with time to spare. So I headed to wally world tonight in search for some new protein powder. I found some with 30 grams of protein and 8 carbs per 4 ounce swerving. The flavor is triple chocolate. I brought it home and excitedly made a shake. It is sooo good!!! Taste just like choc milk even when mixed with water. I'm gonna do 3 shakes a day and lots and lots of water. Hopefully I can get a little weight off quickly! I weigh 170.0 today and hope to be at 155 by time for surgery.
