Awful! - Birmingham, AL

I am VERY unhappy with my results AND the treatment I received afterwards. I used Dr. Hedden for a breast augmentation. Before the procedure and the day after, I received great care and customer service. Once I returned home to Atmore, I was happy for about a month....so happy that I referred 2 family members to him, one with just an augmentation and the other (my mother) who paid for augmentation, lift, and pretty much a complete reconstruction! After about 2 months, I noticed my right breast became VERY saggy. I called on SEVERAL occasions to report my concerns but had difficulty getting someone to return my calls. When they were finally returned, I was told that my right breast had dropped and my left hadn't and that I shouldn't be concerned. I was told to give them at least 6 months-1 year to drop and fluff. At about the 7 month mark, I called and emailed pictures letting them know that my right breast was still EXTREMELY saggy and that I was experiencing numbness around the the scar on the same breast. I was told that my breast seemed to be bottoming out and WAS TOLD TO TIE A SHOESTRING AROUND MY NECK AND BREAST FOR 6 MONTHS TO SEE IF THAT WOULD HELP....if not, I would need to pay to have additional surgery to fix it!!!! Seriously?!?! With as much money I spent, plus referring 2 other people, I was told to tie a shoestring around my breasts....even after reporting it happening within 2 months of my surgery! You would think that he would want to back up his work and fix an issue like this, especially after it being reported so soon after surgery! I was and still am appalled by the way I was treated and the "advice" I was given! I can't explain how my breast feels....it feels like there is something seriously wrong and that my implant is going to fall out or something! I have cried on many occasions at the way my right breast looks. I am so unpleased with my results and the lack of concern from my doctor and his staff when I reported the problem. I will NEVER refer anyone else to this doctor and have actually changed the minds of 5 people who were considering using him....just by showing them my breasts! I recently moved to Pensacola,FL and am currently looking for another doctor that can fix his mess up! I think what bothers me the most about all of this is the lack of concern displayed by Dr.Hedden and his staff. I felt and still feel like after they got my money, they no longer cared about me or my concerns unless I was willing to give them more money! I worked hard to save up for this procedure and couldn't believe that such a well respected doctor could do something like this to a customer.
