tierram0821
WORTH IT$12,500
I had a very pleasant experience with Dr Torres and his team! I felt that everything was very thorough and sanitary. Communication was pretty good before and during. Only thing I could make a comment on is I wish they sent every picture they took. I’m still waiting on pics that I’m pretty sure I won’t get. But I know that’s extra lol. He was 100% perfect at preforming his job and bed side manner

Hey love. Do you speak Spanish? If not, it can get slightly frustrating every now and then. But everyone does your best to work with you. And his coordinator Angie and Patricia in the spa both speak English. Are you staying at his recovery house? I suggest only staying with him. I didn’t listen to him and went to what I thought was a Wells Reviewed recovery home, and it was awful. I highly recommend only staying with him

I don't speak Spanish. so far Angie has been great with communication I'm waiting for her to get back to me about the total days I need to stay being I might need a mri out there because out here I need a referral and my pcp is booked until the 19th which is pushing it and that's only for paperwork to get mri who knows how far they're booked out. I'll be staying at the hotel he suggested just to keep things simple and safe. Did you have to use this thing called mig check I just found out this morning I'll have to do this before arriving and departing Columbia

Yes I did. Turn the website to English and it’s simple. America is listed as Estados Unidos, fyi. I stayed 17 days. 3 days before surgery and 14 after surgery. I recommend doing that. Especially if you don’t have a short return flight

I just shared my Amazon list. Everything on that list I bought and used for the recovery. And I would recommend you getting as much as you can off of that list. Give me a moment and I will explain some of the things on the list

I'll check out the list and see if there's anything else I need or might have forgotten. How was so far I have dresses urinal socks slippers pads extra faja night gowns antibacterial soap no pain meds as I wasn't sure if it would be allowed on plane.some say pack light as some stuff won't be used until I'm home
August 1, 2022
Yes you can bring your medication on flight.

I took the Arnica and the post op vitamins daily. I feel like I recovered and healed pretty well and I did not bruise hardly at all.

That urinal is the best one of used. Only had one accident with leakage on my faja. It’s great. The other ones do not work well at all to me and pretty much everyone I know who has used them.

Boppy isn’t a bad thing to have although the ones over there are much bigger. It’s a good option for having to be on your knees to like eat or if you’re tired of standing, laying down. I bought a bbl pillow (not good gif our surgery) and used it to kneel on to eat at table and what not….Also, the spa is going to try to sell you a pillow to fly home with.

Adult wipes are better than baby wipes. And bigger

Lumbar pillow is good for sleeping on stomach. Which you’ll be doing a lot of

I recommend bringing only 3-4 dresses (I stayed 17 days). Your faja gets washed daily/every other day. So I brought 8 dresses but used 4.

Sleep headphones are great for blocking light and noise. I play white noise or lofi music in mine

Portable bidet is 100% necessary! Every time you poop or just want to freshen up (can’t shower) then this is necessary to clean properly without wetting scar.

I like my portable charger for when I couldn’t really reach the charger near the floor.

Shower shoes, Chuck pads, and slippers that aren’t thong are necessary

You will 100% be constipated afterwards so drink miralax and order yellow dragon fruit (called yellow pitaya there). It’s a good natural laxative. No more than two at a time.

Leg pain

tierram0821
About two days ago, the throbbing pain in my right thigh that was the main reason I rushed for surgery, came back. It now hurts again when standing or laying down. I have contacted Angie and waiting for the doctors response. But at this point, what can he do?

Little recommendations

While I still think that Torres was a great doctor, I do suggest sitting down and having a talk about your MRI prior to surgery. I think it should be a thorough discussion between you two. Because I believe I had Silicone up higher on my back and I’m not sure if that part was removed. So I wish we went over my MRI prior to surgery.

And I also think you should go over scar placement before the surgery. My scar looks amazing. But I do wish I would have thought about where I usually wear my lingerie so that I could have him put the scar up higher. But Everyone wears their bottoms in a different place. So that should be something that is discussed prior to surgery.

Also, if you look in the comments between me and another user, you will see my Amazon list link. You also see a comment with me explaining some of the things on the list and why they were so important to me.

I must say… I was scared to leave the country
… but my ignorance proved me wrong I actually seriously feel minor pain from removal aswel removal from my private area that migrated causing very thin skin I was depressed uncomfortable feeling lazy and foggy headed that contributed to a 60/70 weight gain… that was my phuckit point….
I feel so positive now the staff from driver to nurse to Angie was professional… the hospital was clean I’m at the crown plaza and because I elected to stay for 3 weeks to heal… I have a working suite which has a washer/ dryer
Breakfast lunch and dinner provided
Massages and driver …. Provided
Why is everything ala Cart in the states… Ridiculous…. And the price … I was always told you get what you pay for… unlike Drs who are flashing their private lives … I liked tha fact that DrTorres is humble
I don’t speak a word of Spanish… but Ms Angie made me feel like a sister

Now granted she is busy with several girls I must say she is busy and dosent have time to answer the same questions over and over so make a list …. She doesn’t bite
Everyone heals differently so don’t base someone else experience to yours… don’t know what your knuckle head injected in you…
And don’t get down on yourself.. a very nice lady put a bug in my ear about getting in cut out not lipo’d and I’m glad I listened… I got to see the A$$ steaks that were cut out of my body and I must say it brought a tear to my eye … almost like child birth

I made myself so anxious I thought that’s how I would feel
And in my experience
I made myself sick for nothing…
Just remember … it was cheap going in… But you better save up several tens of thousands to take it out….
He can do the testing here
I know for removal MRI I was quoted 600-800 in the states
Here it was 150 for one example
Drs are tripling their prices… and that’s not the cost of any of the extras…. Meds tests accommodations massages Airport pick up delivery aswell to the clinics food… Think smart…. And do it right the first time
I’m a New Yorker and a hard sell… wasn’t looking for a bargain but found a qualified Dr with a great package…what more can a lady ask for… tell them Snake Chick recommended… and I belive you might just be as satisfied in your decision… know that all American Drs can mess you up … don’t be scared to look at all your options … it’s your body and your life… your the only one… that’s gotta live it
You got this
