Well I recently got my annual botox but this is the first time I have had a side effect. I usually receive anywhere from 200to 400 units. My right eye began to drooping about 4 days after injection. Which this is also the first time I have had a different Neurologist do this for me. My long time Neurologist Dr. Terrance Millette of Pascagoula, Mississippi is currently taking time off (because of hospital issues, and he is an amazing person and Doctor) so I was about 3 months overdue. After much research, I found another amazing Neurologist Dr. Curtis Keller in Biloxi, Mississippi. But for the first time I've had a side effect causing my right eye to droop. And this has been awful for me because I rely on contacts to see. Today is the first day of taking the iopidine. I first was using another eye drop covered on my insurance. Is there anything else to do to help make the process move faster?

May I ask why you get annual Botox for migraine? I thought every 3 months was standard.

The same thing is happening to me. I have the drops and no improvement. Thanksgiving is in 4 days and I can’t see out if my right eye. I am starting to get worried did you find something that works?

Have you told the clinic what happened? I got eye droop once and went back in and they were able to do some additional injections to open it back up. They may have done some to even out the other eye, but by the time I left, they looked so much better! He probably injected too close to your brow.
