I had a finesse rhinoplasty done a few years ago just to shave a bump on my nose, after procedure I realized I should of also had work done to my tip, at the time I was scared because I didn't want to have a overly fake looking nose or a pig nose, as I get older I notice my tip drooping more. It's very minor but it bothers me so I had a oune consult with Dr. Motykie, I am happy with his before and afters, however I think his quote is outrageous for such a a minor rhinoplasty, I have no major problems it is all cosmetic. I am waiting to hear back from the office to see if they will work with me. Kaiser will not cover any portion of this. I think I was quoted so high because they were assuming insurance would help out. If I am able to get the quote lowered then I will hopefully book a surgery date for this summer.

Update- Could not get a lower quote, ended up paying 11,775 and around 175 for medications, 150 for physical and HIV test, kaiser will not cover anything for outside elective surgery so even your medications will be out of pocket,

Rhinoplasty morning after
I had my rhinoplasty with Dr. Motykie yesterday. As far as I know every went smoothly, i am in pain and discomfort but it is not too severe. I go back in today for a follow up, so far so good, excited to see my results.

yes! I stopped taking ANY pain killers on day 4 and you're almost there!
