Adding a before and after photo to my review and update!

WORTH IT
Adding a before and after photo as requested in the comments and to help point out my changes. This is for a rhinoplasty and chin augmentation. Before picture is from mid-2018 before I went to Dr. Rahban and the after is from August 2021 (3 years and 9 months post-op).

UPDATE - 3 years and 8 months post Rhinoplasty and Chin Augmentation

Checking back in at 3 years and 8 months post-op from rhinoplasty and chin augmentation with Dr. Rahban.

It’s still the best self-care I ever did for myself. My nose is in perfect shape and has healed so well. No drooping, breathing issues or weird structural holes that you hear in horror stories from some other surgeon's offices gone wrong on here. Dr. Rahban makes a point of seeing you a good handful of times after your surgery to monitor your progress and ensure that his procedures are turning out beautifully - he is METICULOUS! I love my nose and the balance he found in removing the hump, refining the tip, and making it a natural result that fits my face.

As for my chin aug, this was the part I was most hesitant about pre-op and it's been the best fix for my profile. It's made my face more balanced, helps hide a teeny bit of under the chin fat, and has really helped me find more confidence in my side profile. Did I panic when I saw it for the first time one-week post-op? Yes. I was swollen, just like Dr. Rahban warned, and initially thought it looked square from the swelling, but it was exactly what he prepared me to see at that stage and I trusted in the process. At about week 2, all the crazy swelling really started going away and I knew the chin was 100% the right choice. It’s slim, feminine, and just helps align my features better from the side. I sort of looked like I had an underbite before the surgery, but now my chin matches the proportions of the rest of my face. I really underestimated how much a chin can affect someone’s face before this and I’m forever grateful that Dr. Rahban saw the bigger picture in my case and recommended I get it to bring balance to my face. I love it, it turned out so beautifully!

I’m actually going back to Dr. Rahban soon to have a mole and cyst removed from my nose. The mole is on the absolute center point of my face and I would not even think of allowing anyone else to go near it for removal. I saw how non-existent to minimal my scaring was from my procedures and that made it clear he was the only person I could trust to do this removal.

Take it from an obsessive Type-A person, you’re really looking at the best plastic surgeon here in Dr. Rahban.

The Absolute Best!

Rhinoplasty and Chin Augmentation

I had my procedures done 9 months ago and I could not be happier with the results! You'll read this over and over again in other reviews, but my only wish was that I could have done this sooner.

I originally went to Dr. Rahban to consult about a rhinoplasty. He spent a lot of time with me going into the details of the changes he suggested for my nose and even told me what to look out for from other doctors while I was doing other consultations. We briefly discussed the possibility of a chin aug, but I was more focused on my nose (the thing I had wanted to change since I was 11). His honesty, frankness, and knowledge made it clear that this was the only person I could trust. The other selling point for me was his photos. He doesn't have a "signature" nose that he plops onto everyone's face. Every nose in his before and after photos matches each individual’s unique characters and looks like it was supposed to always be a part of their face structure. This was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to look like myself, just a better and more refined version. I booked a rhinoplasty and bypassed the chin aug (again I was just so focused on fixing my nose and couldn't see past that).

When I went to see Dr. Rahban for my pre-op appointment, he asked why I had only confirmed the rhinoplasty at that point and had decided to forego the chin aug. I explained that I didn't hate the idea of a chin aug, I was just more focused on my nose. He took the time to explain to me how much the chin aug would bring more balance to my profile. He knew the kind of profile result I was looking for and took the time to explain the big picture and how the chin aug would help center and align my whole profile. He was not pushy about it and I took the night to sleep on it. I realized that I had selected the best surgeon I could find for a reason and decided to move forward with the chin aug too. Let me tell you... it was the only part of this whole thing that I questioned and it had the most impact on my result! I had zero doubts that the rhinoplasty would turn out well and to be honest, I questioned if I would like the result of the chin aug, but it had a more profound effect on my profile than my nose! I am soooo thankful that he took the time to explain his vision about it and give me the information I needed to make the choice to go through with it.

I can’t recommend Dr. Rahban enough because he sees his patients as individuals, plays to their unique characteristics, and has the meticulous skill to give amazing results. I would not have let anyone else touch my face.
