Provider Review
Dr. Parsa really knows his craft! If you want to do surgery on your eyelids, don't ever go to anyone but an oculoplastic surgeon. And out of the handful of these specialists in Los Angeles, Dr. Parsa is the absolute best. No bells or whistles like coffee bars in his office or a year's wait to see him; just a vast and detailed anatomical knowledge of the eyes/lids, years of experience in this specialty and an aesthetic sense of beauty any Renaissance artist would envy. I mistakenly did a bleph about 5-6 years ago with an ophthalmologist thinking this surgery is easy-breezy. Everyone's doing it. Boy, was I wrong. I had scars, I had "dog ears" on the outer corner of my eyes, and unevenness which made me look sad and old. No doctor, except those that were just beginning and needed practice or those more into the material end of cosmetic surgery, were willing to touch my eyes. Dr. Parsa informed me it would be a difficult fix and encouraged me to ask questions, which I took as a sign of a confident and experienced surgeon. I remember some of the other doctors I interviewed before selecting Dr. Parsa were insulted that I asked questions. One even refused me merely because I had educated myself to the utmost and asked intelligent questions. So in my view, if you and your doctor want to be on the same page as far as results, a good rapport with plenty of back-and-forth discussion is vital. That's a good sign to look for in choosing a doctor. Three months post surgery, and I am receiving a lot of compliments. It is so natural and contoured (not pulled) that many can't tell I've had work done.
