Very professional doctor. Dr Talei is very thorough, and clearly knows exactly what he is doing. He is very friendly and kind as well. The staff is also very friendly and reassuring. I have done fillers and never been happy with the ugly duck look I got. Dr talei is the doctor who does the most lifts and also help develop this technique

Swelling was pretty bad for a couple days. But I was warned it would be. It is much better now on day 5

Swelling was much worse today. But I understand that is normal. I also gave hyperbaric chamber a try.

Wow, I've been researching Lip Lifts and looking at lots of people's photo here on realself. Your bruising is the worst I have seen. Hope it's settling for you soon, it looks so painful and tight. Did you get the rego number of that truck hahaha j/k

OMG! Thank you so much for posting these photos! I think it helps people prepare psychologically of what to expect. Most of the photos I've seen from other people make it look so much easier. I think I would have been in shock to see myself like this after seeing everyone else's almost perfect photos. Now I know what to really expect.

be very careful with this operation. lady in photo has lovely lips. i did this and i have a horrible scar 15 years later under my nose. i would never have done it if i had known...

Linda -- your surgeon can address those scars... laser or dermabrasion. 15 years is too long to live with a scar that bothers you. Ask your surgeon what he or she can do about them.

I had a corner lip lift but would never do this again. I ended up with creases on the corner of my mouth that look awful. Have had no luck correcting this. Beware!!

Day two. Whoa! The swelling this morning was crazy! I went to try hyperbaric chamber treatment. I’m not sure if it helped.

Day three much less swollen. Maybe the Hyperbaric chamber worked? Trying it again tomorrow

Hi darling! Sorry if you’ve answered this already, but did you get anything done to your lips (the body of the lips, not the lip lift)? Because you’re the first patient i see that has bruising on their actual lip!
