Final thoughts
WORTH IT$7,500
So it has been 10 months. I found Dr Talie on this website and then did some extra investigation. I selected him because lip lifts are his thing. I believe 80% of his practice is lip lifts. Cost? Yes it was very expensive. However I wanted to give myself the best possible chance to have a good outcome. After all this is my face! I can’t hide it if a procedure goes wrong.
In the end I’m glad I did it. I’m of an age now when I am starting to battle looking older. I have plans for other work. Probably veneers next.
Let me encourage you to post open honest photos and videos as you do your research and procedures. This forum is our chance to help each other and hopefully get honest accounts of what the doctors, results, and process are really like. Good luck on your journey.

Looking amazing!! And no makeup? Gosh you look great! I’m so happy you’re loving your results now. I know what an emotional roller coaster ride this procedure can be, but your end result is beautiful. Congrats to you!!!

Thank you for posting more photos. Did you get laser treatments for your scar or any other treatments? Did i take 4 months for you to be able to smile normally? I am at 5weeks post op now and finally looking almost normal (as long as I dont smile) This healing process is torture but seems like it will be worth it in the end. It is just very hard dealing with the way I look right now and trying to avoid having see people because I don’t want to need to explain or tell anyone.
Did it take 4 months for the numb feeling to go away completely too? I know he said it takes 3 months but he also said it takes 3weeks to look basically normal, but it took me 5weeks so I feel I am already behind schedule

I did not have any laser. The smile is totally normal again. That was pretty scary, I know how you feel. My lip and scar are still always tiny bit numb, but it is just barely noticeable now.

Wow you look great. In these pictures I can’t see the scar at all. How is the scar in person?

Thank you so much for posting so many photos and VIDEO. I am going through this now and starting to freak out. I feel a bit better knowing it all worked out for you in the end even though it took so long. Thinking of having to stay like this for another 3 months is hard because as I am sure you know everyone thinks that what you look like a month after surgery is the final result and you look botched to them. Plus you feel botched. It was helpful to hear you saying you had all the same feelings as I am now having and to see that it all worked out for you in the end.
