In Need of Symmetrical Lips Because of a Cleft Lip - Beverly Hills, CA

I typically do not write reviews. However, I have to say that Dr. Nima Shemirani is excellent at his craft. I went into his office for a consultation for Juvéderm lip filler. I also wanted to know if it was possible to lessen the appearance of a upper lip scar from a cleft lip. I researched online for several months about cleft lip revision, scar revision and to make my upper lip more symmetrical. Unfortunately, there is not enough information in regards to cleft lip revisions for adults. I decided to go to Dr. Shemirani for consultation because it was free!! I was definitely impressed Dr. Shemirani and his staff. The doctor and all of the staff were very polite, nice, friendly, honest and understanding about my situation. Dr. Shemirani basically told me that he had never worked on anyone with a cleft lip, however he would be able to make the right side of my upper lip symmetrical with the left side of my upper lip with using Juvéderm lip filler. He told me that I didn't need a scar revision surgery because the scar is hardly noticeable. Also with the Juvéderm injection the scar is not noticeable at all. I trusted that he knew what was best. I made an appointment to get the lip filler and viola I have beautiful symmetrical lips that I wish I was born with. After the Juvéderm injections my lip swelled for 2-3 days (which is typical after the lip filler injection). After the third day, I have an amazing smile and now I enjoy buying lip sticks and lip glosses to put on my perfect lips. I've received a lot of compliments from family and friends. My lips look full and natural looking. Thank you Dr. Shemirani for beautifying my smile!
