Dr. Alter is a wonderful person and an incredible surgeon. I found Dr. Alter three years after a botched labiaplasy that left me feeling hopeless and traumatized. He was incredibly responsive via email and made me feel comforted and safe from the very start. I scheduled to have a revision surgery done at his Beverly Hills location and had a wonderful experience with his staff as well. Zena is an absolute gem. The results of the surgery are beautiful. I am now eight months post-op, and my gynocologist said that is almost impossible to tell that any work had been done at all. This feels like a true miracle to me, because this time last year I was harboring so much shame and fear over the scalloped edges, painful scars and jagged asymmetries left from my first procedure. My advice to everyone: Be careful with labiaplasties. Though certain professionals may say otherwise, they are not simple procedures and can result in physical and psychological distress if not done properly. Do not trust your body to just anyone! With that said, Dr. Alter is absolutely the BEST in the field. If you are looking for a professional surgeon and expert artist for labiaplasties and other female cosmetic surgeries, look no further. It will be expensive, but the price is well worth it -- particularly for revisions. Dr. Alter saved me.
