Young Asian Male, Sliding Genioplasty and Asian Eyelid Surgery With An Amazing Surgeon - Beverly Hills, CA

I am a young male in my twenties, who had long desired to improve the droopy appearance of my eyelids. Despite having a crease, I was often lacking a clean crisp contour, which was also coupled with a pulling / sagging sensation. Secondary to the asymmetric aesthetics, I often times felt the need to apply extra effort to open my eyes in hopes of alleviating the feeling of heaviness. This consistently attempted rectification process only overly compensated itself and often resulted with an artificially looking excessively open eyed appearance. In addition to making the decision having this addressed, I decided to opt into correcting my recessive chin with a second sliding genioplasty. I was fully aware of the risks of both procedures and knew I would only feel the utmost confidence in the right hands. I was further impressed with the great degree of knowledge and confidence displayed in his videos. Despite living in the bay area, I felt it was worth consulting with him. Subsequent to a brief but thorough consultation, I decided to proceed and begin making my lodging arrangements. I knew the long drive (around 7 hours), would most certainly be worth it.

Prior to surgery, I was supplied with meticulous instructions on what I needed to do before surgery, given insight on the intricate process that would be entailed during the actual procedure, as well having the opportunity to speak with the anesthesiologist that would be present during my surgery to put any anesthesia related anxieties to rest, and have my questions answered in detail. Dr. Lee's Office Coordinator Sasha also did a stellar job facilitating all the minute details and paperwork from start to finish.

On the day of the operation, I was cordially greeted by the staff and I was prepped in a quick and efficient manner with very little wait time, despite the fact that I showed up late. Dr. Lee did a full evaluation of my facial anatomy (both my eyes and chin), and proceeded with the operation.

The surgery itself was quite painless, and I recall feeling no discomfort. Upon waking, pain was well suppressed with pain medication. When the bandages finally came off my eyes were clearly swollen, but I could already see a clean crisp crease that I had expected and desired. Despite the fact that my chin was wrapped, it looked evident that I had gained more horizontal projection as planned during the preoperative phase.

Each week / month progressively contributed towards my recovery. Even in the early stages of recovery, I was able to carry on with the vast majority of my daily tasks. By around 2-3 months post op my final results were becoming increasingly more apparent. By this point the vast majority (if not all) of my swelling had subsided, and everything was looking very aesthetically pleasing. Despite his busy schedule, Dr. Lee did a great job walking me through the process and answering questions as needed.

I am now a little over around 7 months post-op, and I can confidently say that I am extremely happy with my results overall. My eyes have obtained the appearance I have desired with the complete absence of a droop and/or any noticeable asymmetries, and my chin is now in a very flattering position in terms of projection. My profile no longer looks recessed or weak from the side, and my jawline and overall appearance of my facial structure is greatly enhanced. Most importantly my results look completely natural and have become a positive supplementation that blend in well with the rest of my features.

Overall, the experience was great, my surgical outcome has yielded great results aesthetically and functionally, and I can confidently say that I am glad that I decided to select Dr. Lee as my surgeon.
