WORTH IT
I underwent a tummy tuck procedure with Dr. Rady Rahban just over two years ago, and my experience was nothing but positive. Having the procedure performed was a great decision, and choosing Dr. Rahban to perform it was easily the best decision I could have made. Dr. Rahban is not only an excellent surgeon, but also a true artist. His attention to detail and commitment to perfection is unmatched.
I had the procedure done just short of a year after my second son was born. After both pregnancies, I lost all of the baby weight easily, but was left with a stomach that I didn't recognize and was ashamed of. I did not want to live the rest of my life worrying about camouflaging my belly with loose-fitting clothes and never really feeling good about the way I looked.
Dr. Rahban gave me a beautiful stomach (with a perfectly placed scar, which is hidden in even the skimpiest of bikinis!) and he gave me my confidence back. In the two years since my surgery, I have also visited Dr. Rahban for other procedures (botox and restylane) and each time have been thrilled with the results. I tend to be an anxious person, and he is always able to put my nerves at ease before each procedure, because he makes it so obvious that he really cares about his results. He wants to make everyone beautiful and he is gifted at doing that.
I would never go to anyone other than Dr. Rahban and cannot recommend him highly enough.

I'd love to hear more too. I met with Dr. Rahban as well (he's the only Dr. I've done a consultation with, and my before looks like yours two years after my twin pregnancy.

Dr. Rahban is truly the best for tummy tucks in my opinion. I can't even believe that is me in my before pictures. He is a miracle worker! Let me know if you have any other questions, and I'd be happy to answer them.

When I saw him, he mentioned that I should lose 10 more pounds to address some fat under my ab muscles for a better result. I lost all my baby weight breastfeeding, but developed a pretty bad thyroid problem and gained 10 back when I quit breastfeeding. Losing it is proving harder than I hoped, and more than that, I'm afraid if I lose it, i might gain it back anyway. Did he mention that to you or maybe you didn't have any visceral fat? Did you have lipo of your flanks? does your core strength feel different? thank you for answering these for me!

Hi, Melissa. No, he didn't mention anything about visceral fat, and I didn't have any lipo of the flanks. (My underwear in the before picture are Spanx that I had folded down, so I think that's why it looks like that. Man, am I glad to be rid of those! I would wear Spanx pretty much every day to keep my tummy in.)
My core definitely feels stronger, although I guess I don't really know for sure. I try to do planks when I can to keep strengthening that area, and it seems to help.

thanks! you definitely didn't look like you needed lipo in your before, just curious since your after looks so awesome! appreciate it!

I don't remember terrible swelling. I had to take 2 weeks off work to recover, and then Dr. Rahban has all his patients wear a binder for 6 weeks following surgery. That definitely helps with swelling. I was also prescribed medication that helps control swelling.
I hope this helps. Thanks for the compliments! Dr. Rahban deserves all the credit!
