I'm 43 and have never had any types of injections put into my face. Within the last couple of years my wrinkles have really started appearing. My friend recommended making an appointment with Dr. Jason Emer. Dr. Emer recommended that restylane would work best for my face. I was a little nervous, but I was told that this is a procedure that can be reversed if I am not happy with it. I can't believe that my wrinkles (crows feet and the ones above your check) are 98% gone!!! I was also nervous about having my face plumped out too much. The work he did on my face looks like I didn't have anything done! He is a genius because I love what he did!

I did let Dr.Emer take before pictures (without makeup) and when 2 weeks are up I'm going to go back. I let him know I didn't mind taking photos. I will for sure post them. I stopped taking close ups (haha) a few years ago so I really do not have any photos, but I can look. I can tell you they said it could take 2 weeks for swelling to go down. My face was for sure a little swollen the next morning (no bruising), but 90% went down that night. I still have about 2% swelling. I know no one would notice but me. I am really happy how it looks natural.

Glad you are happy with your results!  It sounds like you had the restylane injected around your cheeks- is that right?  How many vials/syringes did you have injected?

Like Tina said, we'd love to see your pics if you can get them from your doc!

I'm not sure how many were used. I was nervous so I kept my eyes closed ;). I've also never had it done before. I'm assuming it was not a lot since he made sure I look natural and I didn't have any extra costs. I will ask when I go back in 2 weeks specially since I do want to do this again. I had it a in the laugh lines, and in the high point of checks (my wrinkles were the worst there). Will for sure post the before and after pictures when I get them.

I'm guessing you had 1 vial based on the price- unless you bought 2 on a deal and they are just keeping the rest/unused leftovers for you until you need it.  Let us know :)
