I recently had a thigh lift ( vertical incision down to knee) with Dr. Katzen and wanted to share my fantastic experience so that anyone who is contemplating getting this surgery done and is looking for a doctor, can stop looking and researching, and book a consultation with Dr. Katzen. He is a master when it comes to this type of surgery.
I'm 50 years old and while I have always taken care of myself and felt I looked good in clothing, I started developing very lax skin on my thighs. I'm not sure if this was genetic, hormonal or a combo of both....but no amount of exercise ( and I exercised a lot ) would change the look of my flabby, loose skinned legs. I became very self conscious when wearing anything that went above my knees...in fact I completely stopped. My legs looked like that of a much older women.
My surgery went well, and so far I couldn't be more excited about my results. Dr. Katzen makes beautiful scars....thin, thin scars. He is incredibly skilled. I am 2 1/2 months post op and my scars already look amazing. I can't wait to see what they look like a year from now, when most of the healing is complete. My legs no longer look like a granny, rather, they are firm and tight....like a teenager. Dr Katzen is the best of best... A gifted surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner.
