Dr Zoumalan is a nose God!!!! Best decision ever

I am now 8 days out, and I can say Dr Zoumalan is AMAZING!! he is seriously amazing!!
not only is he kind, listens and goes over EVERYTHING that he is going to perform on your nose after asking you exactly what you want and taking your look/ethnic background into question, he is seirously a perfectionist!!! he is an artist and paints faces and that really helps in his work! he is a perfectionist and spent an extra hour on me making sure everything was absolutey PERFECT!!!!
my surgery took 5 hours!!!! i needed the works. my nose had a huge bump, the width was huge, it deprojeted when i smiled which made it look GINORMOUS and then it dropped and hooked down as well, also my nostrills were huge and not even and i had breathing issues due to multiple sports trama!
i had rhino, septo, turbinate, alar base reduction and also the deprojection. not sure if i am missing something else!!! he made me feel so comfortable and his team is amazing!!! when i got out of my surgery i noticed i felt AMAZING right away and even in my cast people could tell i had a great nose job!!!!
i have seen so many botched nose jobs i was petrified!!! i researched and understood due to the complexities of my nose, i could not go to a 'cookie cutter' plastic surgeon that is one size fits all! ANY dotor that would suggest a closed approach to my nose i knew to run.. and fast!! their is NO WAY my nose would EVER be done in a closed approach!!! funny, i actually sent my pictures to a certain doctor in the valley and he said he could do my nose in 1-1.5hours with a closed approach by cutting down the bump, bringing in the nostrils and turning my nose upwards!! LMAO! I questioned this doctors abilitiy, but even after sending him my pictures and him suggesting basically the same nose he puts on everyone else and the same amount of time on me, i knew that he is not a skilled plastic surgeon!
Dr Zoumalan is also a double board certified EMT so he understands breathing issues and these were all corrected in the surgery! 8 days out and i can say i breath better then i did before! I never realized i was only breathing out of one nostrill! im sure this will improve my quality of life in so many ways!
I always wanted a nose job since i was 12, but of course, i was scared getting a botched job and i knew my nose required more then just shaving down the bump and a little tip work! i had SO MUCH wrong with this nose and now i truly feel like Dr Zoumalan gave me the nose i always dreamed of!!!!! i am so much more confident and i know that this is really going to help me especially in my professional career! The new nose also brings out my eyes and i look 10 years younger!!! i am still recovering, but nothing wonky seems to be going on or anything crazy!
Dr Z staff is amazing! especially Chrstin and Mel! they are truly the best!! they answer your email or phone call asap and answer any question you have, no matter how stupid it may be! They are also there to listen to your freak outs! AHH!
Everything went perfect! I was SO NERVOUS to tell all my friends and coworkers, especially not knowing if i would be one of those people who gets a botched nose and has to go back to work and face everyone who you already told - how embarassing is that! to tell everyone you are geting a nose job and then you face them and its botched! But now i can not wait to see their reaction and honestly, it looks so good i am thinking many people may not even notice anything different! I have avoided wearing my hair in a ponytail for so long so i am excited for that!
Thank you Dr Z and staff, i know that this nose is lifechanging and i HIGHLY recommend him to anyone out there thinking about a nose job! Also, dr z specializes on the nose and only the nose and facial things. His brother works in the same office and he does eyelids and he also works with other specialists in the fields to do other surgeries so if you need more then one procedure done he can make that all possible!!

The big day is almost here!!!
I went shopping this weekend for all my supplies.. just need to get some pillows.
no drinking for 2 weeks pre and a month post is probably the hardest thing ever! haha but i am not investing 12k to screw it up by drinking:)
i will post pre photos in the next coming weeks.. getting more comfortable doing this:)

2 more weeks to go and I am treating my nose like my baby!
No alcohol or foods high in sodium.
Drinking lots of greens and cutting out my daily caffeine consumption.

OMG I am so scared/neverous/excited!
As much as I hate this nose it is sad to say bye to something you have had for 30 years!!

My surgery will be May 18 in Beverly Hills with Dr Zoumalan!
If anyone has words of wishes/advice or any kind of diet plan (going shopping this weekend!) please let me know!

If anyone is considering Dr. Z he is seriously the best, very talented and attention to detail!! i trust that he will enjoy the time spent on this large one and help my baby out as much as possible:)
