After reading a comment from doctor
I would like to make this clear I didn't write any complaints or reviews because I did not know of anything like this website and second I was 18-19 years old very young and now that I know about this website and Extremely more wise now so I can help others bc I know that if I had seen a website like this and had help like I'm giving to people now I can change mistakes I once had no help in making my decisions so just bc the doctor comments and doesn't even care about my case and just wants to justify himself just shows more about his practice... I really thought maybe they would see this and maybe want to see if there's anything they can help with but nope just commented on my review for SHOW that's ok I believe in karma and I am all about positive energy so I hope I helped anyone I can!

I support your position. Doctors should admit that they are also business people. How many young people (or people who are just hurting) seek medical "help" and just get a routine procedure. No counseling about pros/cons, no encouragement to discuss with loved ones and they become defensive if they receive complaints...rather than consiering that theyd made a mistake and offer support. They lack empathy. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Ive gone through similar. Patients do sometimes show up even against their better judgement because people trust doctors and usually just do what they say. And you were only a baby!! He took advantage of his position of power and chose to overlook his ethical responsibility to consider your youth and vulnerability. How awful.

That said, any doctor would be surprised to first learn of an unhappy patient almost a decade after a procedure was performed.
Furthermore, I am perplexed if any patient were to state we are concerned only about money. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Every patient seen at our practice has attended appointments voluntarily - presumably, because they've identified a physical feature that they would like to alter, improve or remove. Fortunately, our practice remains steadily busy with new patients - we have no need to seek out additional patients. Neither I, nor my staff, solicit patients to undergo unnecessary surgical procedures. That would be unethical and illegal.
One would presume that any patient alleging they were talked into an unnecessary procedure would not return for several more additional procedures. Patients just do not do that.
It is also important to note that we received no complaints from any patient seen eight years ago, who had a rhinoplastly and a blepheroplasty performed.
On occasion, we do receive complaints from patients years after their successful procedures (some of these patients are even featured in before/after photos on our website). Oftentimes, these patients are seeking a revision or a touch-up. Unfortunately, the surgical results from plastic surgery are not guaranteed to last a lifetime. Indeed, patients seeking to maintain a certain look will often have to undergo periodic follow-up procedures. While we are happy to acquiesce to requests for touch-ups (if aesthetically and medically necessary), these procedures are not covered in the payment for the original surgery.
