I ended up needing 2 revision serguries to correct my nose. My bridge had to be rebuilt, breathing fixed, and nose pulled out of my mouth. It was literally sitting on my teeth. I HIGHLY suggest doing many consultations with several doctors before any facial surgery. Dont just go off ig or who seems popular! That is what I had done! Dr Ghavami ruined my face and has terrible bed side manner after surgery. The doctor that hgave me the revisions is Dr Behroozs Torkian. Exremely kind and patient with all my questions and anxiety from my prior botched surgery.

This doctor ruined my face. I hid for almost 2 years. I had a rhinoplasty that was uppise to fix my breathing and shorten my nose. I ended up with a pinched looking, longer nose which pushed down my upper lip hiding my teeth. My smile was gone and it was also so pinched I had o sleep w a straw in my right nostril in order o breath. He overcharged me and had the worst bedside manner.

Hi can you please tell me who did your revision? I had a horrible primary result with Ghavami as well.

I am soooooooo depressed. I have started therapy because I have completely withdrawn myself socially and pretty much publicly. The only thing I do is go to work and necessary errands. Dr Ghavami has ruined my life. My nose is longer, wider bridge and nostrils, and smooched in and down on my face. My nose and upper lip are almost a centimeter lower than before. My smile barely shows my teeth. I look like I have droopy smooch nose. Everyone at work looks at me weird. Friends don't know what to say except, " he can fix it right?"...

i think you look soo pretty! and the smile is like mine!! i am 3 weeks post up and have this stiff looking smile just look at my pictures.. cheer up, i am going through the same thing as you , the depression, waking up seeing the smooched nose and just feeling sad, but Im trying to think positive and thinking the swelling is distorting the results. what does your dr say? Have you had much work done, was it closed or open? Big hugs

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am so sorry for what you went through. I have been debating my situation for years and am still on the fence about what to do. I wrestle with this every day that I look into the mirror since as I've grown older, the appearance has worstened. I hope so much for you that your nose will improve and will change for the best. I too am in therapy but so far no real results from that.

I'm so sorry and fearful I may be in the same boat as you very soon:( I'm so worried and distraught that my smile is gone and it may take months upon months to return if ever. What was your docs response when you voiced this concern 3 months post?

you are still so swollen at 3 months! after my first rhinoplasty I looked like a freak show until 6 months! especially if bones were broken. Be patient!!! I couldn't smile right for months!!! I wouldn't even start accessing your nose until 3 more months from now!
