update! Sorry It been so long

Hello guys!
I am really sorry not having update this review earlier but as I explained to some of you by email I have been really busy as of late righting an essay for my last year of studies. furthermore, I felt I had to wait a bit more to give you my impression on my results.
Doctor Frankel told me to get back at him at the one year mark, so I figured it would not be fair to start making definitive statement so early.
As you may remember, after the revision I was really happy about the shape of my new tip and a bit concerned about the grafts in my bridge making it too bulky.
Well here is my update : I am even more happy with the shape of my tip. Its more refined than I could never expected to be. It is a drastic change in my face but the funny thing about this it that no one in my relatives is noticing it, maybe because it has been years that I was contouring my face..
for the graft part, I was still thinking it made my bridge too bulky, but really recently I am starting to see some more refinement. it depends a lot on how the natural light and shadows play with my nose, though.

In overall in am extremely happy I made this decision, and that I chose doctor Frankel. From where I stand, He is a extremely talented surgeon.

so here are my pictures - no make up, no nothing :) sorry for the quality though, I do not have a digital camera, its iphone taken.

for the sake of remembering

This was pre-op nose : after two rhinoplasties aimed at refining my tip....its almost comical...
well I am not trying to bash my previous surgeons neither at least they were conservative and did not left me deformed

updateeeee

Hi everyone

I am really sorry not having updated earlier, I realized today I was on the verge of becoming a plastic surgery forum quitter, and that it was not fair after all the things searching through realself and makemeheal had done for me. The reason of my silence is not that I have been too crazily happy to even think about coming back, I actually did thought to write an update every once in a while but I was waiting for swelling to resorb some more to have a clearer idea on my results.
So, at 5 weeks post op : I am THRILLED with my new nose.
My front view is so refined compared to before it is almost hard to believe. I have had my two previous surgeon telling me nothing more could be done, and I was almost believing it (that is why it was hard for me to go for another revision) so to say I feel a profound feeling of joy and relief would be an understatement.
that being said, rhinoplasty and revision on top of that, is a freaking emotional rollercoaster, that is also why I did not shout out earlier as I am still very uncomfortable with taking pictures.
Another tricky thing with rhinoplasty is that you spent so much time fantasizing on how pretty you should look like with a nice nose (well at least I was :D), focusing your whole aesthetics on your nose basically, that you tend to notice your other facial defects more after you get the said nice nose. It is the case for me even though I find myself a lot more pretty now than before.
Another thing : when your at you revision, you tend to focus on every defect your new nose present.
the main defect of mine right now is that I have had 2 grafts on one side of my bridge (that was curved) and I find that it makes my bridge bigger than it should on that side, which makes my left profile a bit beack like looking. It has gone down since the operation (it was really beack like then) and I am hoping it will continue to do so.

Well thats about it for now, If someone had told me that I would be so happy with my 2nd revision one year ago, I would not have believed it (having to disapointing rhinoplasties one after the other tends to make you a pessimistic person)

Doctor Frankel performed my 2nd revision rhinoplasty on May 12th . I chose him for he seems a very talentend surgeon able to adress convexity of tip cartilage and to handle tissues that have already been operated on. Turns out, he really is an extremely talented surgeon!
