WORTH IT
This surgery was the best thing ever. It was so easy, practically pain free, and pretty quick recovery. I have zero scar now. I'm just so happy that I did this. It's subtle but it made a big difference in balancing my face. Much better than doing lip filler (which I did a few years ago and hated)! I highly recommend Dr. Hsu.

You look stunning! It is amazing you have no scar! Did you use any scar treatments? Did your nose swell after the lip lift surgery?
I didn't use any scar treatment. It looked pretty great from the beginning and I only needed a little concealer for the first few months. My nose did swell, but I had had rhino revision 6 months prior to the lip lift, so it probably swelled more than most people would. But even so, it wasn't bad. Really a great procedure, but make sure you go to someone good. I highly recommend my doctor.
Your doctor did a great job on you! i am also amazed that you were able to have your lip lift so early after your revision. I am 6 months after primary rhino and my nostrils are still stiff and swollen and I feel tightness under my nose . I feel like the lip lift would be too soon for me now.
I was still and sore as well around the nostrils and tip (my nose surgery was pretty complex involving bone grafts), but the surgery didn't bother me at all. I think you should be fine to do it.
OMG - you look great!! I can't believe your recovery. You can't even see your scar at all! I'm so glad for you. I'm obsessed with this section on lip lifts. I'm planning to have it done, but really want to make sure I'm making the right choice of doctor. I will have to travel out of state so even more so I want to make sure I'm making the right choice. Would you mind letting me know the cost for you? I appreciate it - again - you look amazing!
I was totally obsessed too because I had never heard of it before. You should definitely check out my doctor. I live in LA and had the choice of any Beverly Hills doctor (including Dr. Hayworth). I met with a couple of doctors, but once I met with Dr. Hsu, I knew she was the one. I am so glad I did. I go to her for my botox and filler now too. She's quite simply the best. I paid just over $5,000 all in. She's in a new location so I'm not sure what her pricing is. Probably around the same, but you should check with her. Thanks for your kind c omment!
Well, I definitely want t someone amazing. I just can't believe you have NO scar! It seems the prices are all over the place though, but you know what they say.....You get whAt you pay for! My husband already vetoed the Mexico doctor despite the price and the good reviews. I will definitely contact her! Thank you
Looks good! Lip lifts are one surgery that really should be more popular given the popularity of all the other face procedures. The lip to nose ratio is a major age marker. I can think of one local newswoman who had a really tight face lift that looks relatively good several years later, but the lip area isn't in synch. Ooops.
I know, it's really like a youth serum. I'm glad when I did mine, nobody knew what I did. I just said I had a bad cold to explain the redness under my nose. Haha!
You look so amazing!!! I'm about 6 weeks post op & loving the results too!! I don't know why it's not performed more often. I got to the point where the fillers really weren't giving me the results I wanted. The lip lift is a no brainer to recover from with super amazing results!! Yay for you!!
I know, right? It's the best thing ever! I never even heard about it until I came on this site. I think more and more people will discover this. I don't even mind my thin lips anymore! Yay for you too! :)

It was done in a surgical center at the clinic, but I was only given an IV of happy drugs and a local. So I awake the whole time, but I felt nothing.

All healed and feeling great. I highly recommend this procedure. It was so easy.

You certainly can not tell that you had a Lip Lift! Your scar is not visible at all. Has anyone noticed that you had "work done". What scar treatment did you use? Are you still using it? Curious if you are going back to your ps for more follow ups? I'm 4 weeks out from my LL and still did not start any scar treatment, per my ps instructions. I'm healing nicely, you can see my recent pix on my profile. Good luck. You look beautiful!!!!
Nobody noticed at all. Well they did know initially because I had the Gerber baby mouth, but people who hadn't seen me in the healing process don't realize that I've done anything except the rhino revision. I don't even need to use scar cream because there was really nothing there. I've been back to my PS since. I've been following your review and I think you got a really great result. What is your distance now? Mine is 12 mm (I started at 18.5 mm).
Hi Ali. It's amazing that your scar don't warrant scar treatment. Wow!! You really do look scar free. I just studied your most recent photo!! I'm still not using any treatment yet. I see my ps tomorrow. My distance was 19.5 and now I'm probably at 13mm. Thank you for following my review. It is kinda fun reading everyone's comments. Especially when they're positive. :-).
I feel like this was the best thing I've ever done. I had never even heard of a lip lift until I came to this site to do my rhinoplasty revision review. And then I heard a lot of horror stories about the healing process but I was looking decent at day 6 (once the stitches were out). I was out in public at a lunch on day 7 and back to work a few days later. And there was no pain. I guess after that revision everything seems easy!
I feel the same way....it was a pretty easy recovery for me too! I was out and about three days later, wearing a band-aid over the scar. It is a surgery that is not all that costly, and delivers great results!! I feel it's changed my entire "look"!!! :-)

Four weeks later

I'm really happy I did this. Dr. Hsu is amazing. I feel great. I just need a small amount of concealer, but my scar is very minimal and flat. Still a little stiff from the dissolvable stitches, but otherwise back to normal.

Really nice result, it certainly gave you a more youthful composition to your already pretty face. Thank you also for reviewing this doctor as she is new to me to watch.I have been on these review boards since 90's just comparing results of physicians and find it fascinating. (I also oneday will get this procedure,still taking in info.) So far I'm impressed by what I see she can do and best of all, she listened to you(the patient) VERY important with Electives. We pay for a cosmetic result to OUR liking after all. ;) So go out and enjoy your beautiful results! XO

Thank you. I'm really happy with the result. I almost want to keep Dr. Hsu to myself, because I know once she gets famous so forget the little people ha ha. But seriously she is such a find it. I'm going to use her for a litter filler under my eyes this weekend. She has a very gentle hand.
