WORTH IT
Dr. Ben Talei is by the far the best plastic surgeon I've gone to (I've had lipo, stem cell breast work, ear work, fillers, botox, you name it). He is tremendously talented, detailed, thoughtful, and knowledgeable, not to mention super cool and caring toward his patients. He performed my lip lift just four weeks ago. Already, I'm almost totally healed with no signs of a scar (it's really amazing!). He is impressively gifted as a plastic surgeon: he not only perfected the minor imperfections in my lips (e.g. balanced asymmetry), but I feel like he gave me the lips and mouth that I should have been born with! I am absolutely obsessed with my face now! My confidence is through the roof and NOONE can tell I ever had any work done -- they just think I have a naturally beautiful pout! I honestly should have seen Dr. Talei a lonnnnnnng time ago! He seriously exceeded all my expectations and, at 34, I look and feel like I'm 26. My relaxed face is youthful, bright and sultry now, whereas before, I just looked tired and mean. He really has an eye for beauty and what each individual's face needs. Although Dr. Talei's work is subtle, it has really changed my life around for the better, and I cannot thank him enough. If you're thinking of getting any plastic surgery, filler, botox etc, please please please do yourself a favor and only consider Dr. Talei. I am beautiful, but who can afford this doctor. You are one of the many who are rich. It is wonderful and you better keep going because modeling cannot gone on forever there will always be someone better looking than you and yes, maybe narturally.

i am FAR from rich. i just know how to not blow my money on $4 lattes lol I'm very good with money and I saved this and I have no regrets :)

I just started looking into lip lifts since honestly you don't hear much about them, or at least we used to not. I am older than you and believe me I need it wayyyy more! I always did, and now I do more than ever. But just wanted to say, I don't think 3 or 4 k is so much to pay. I just read about another doctor (Haworth, beautiful but pricey work) who costs sooo much more! He (Haworth) does do wonderful lip lifts, but it would be nice to not pay an arm and a leg for a lip! I mean he costs a LOT more, so 3 or 4 k is not bad at all, trust me. Compare that to non perm fillers and heck, it's a deal. So thank you for bringing THIS dr to my attention and as you know you look fantastic, that goes without saying. I figured I wouldn't even need to tell you that. My question is, what do you think of Dr. Haworth's work and what kind of lip lift is this exactly?

3-4 thousand for some people would be a hefty price to pay, particularly if you are left with a scar for 6 months or maybe for longer. It is all relative to how much one has in money. You are one of the blessed one's. Money is not an obstacle in your life. I wake up and thank GOD for the day because I can't dwell on the fact that I don't have that amount of money. I give credit to this young lady 33,
because she saved the money and did something for her career. In the modeling business your looks are your bread and butter. Good luck to you nadiahoney you I hope you have a wonderful journey in all our plights to be better.

Well fillers cost thousands more when you add up years of them, and they don't last nearly as long. Scars heal, especially well for some of us. The one thing I do well is heal, but I am lacking in the finance dept.! I am broke and part of the reason I think is all the wasted money on bad boyfriends, fillers and clothes. I have stopped spending like I used to as I get older and wiser but saggier. Fillers suck and don't last and cause eventual sagging -- I am not sure of this but I am beginning to think so. I wish some doc would chime in and address this? And compared to other doctors this is NOT a high price -- seriously -- where are you seeing lip lifts costing far less than this? I am seeing the good ones cost more than this. Or maybe I just don't know where to look. That's IF I ever have the money for what i need to do which I don't yet, but just because I don't have the money at this moment doesn't mean I cannot dream! But true, if I looked as good as the model here did originally, it would be too hefty a risk to take for a scar (but I don't scar badly, in my experience, and I need a lift a LOT more.) Honestly, to the model here, you didn't need this at all. But it still looks good so either way you win....

I'm sorry but it's not really your place to criticize how or whether one spends their money. If she wants to spend her money on a lip-lift than that is her prerogative. Additionally, how *you* look is it irrelevant to this conversation. She's giving us all useful information and we should be thanking her for offering her review and photos to boot. And finally, yes...with age we all lose some if our looks, irrespective of the jobs we work - but time affects all if us-everyone. That's why we're in this site - to improve on the hand we've been given. I think it'd be more beneficial to thank those who are courageous enough to post their reviews, rather than berate them for their good fortune.

You need to meditate. I did not berate her, I have no intention of hurting anyone. I just said not everyone is as fortunate to afford surgery. Relax. I appreciate people and this site just as much as you do.

You look beautiful. Dr Talei is known in Beverly Hills for his beautiful lip lift work. Plus he does lots of lip lift and lip revisions so he really knows what he is doing.

I have heard of Dr. Haworth for lip lifts in Bev Hills, not heard of this doc....do they work together? I mean, I really had NOT heard of him anywhere except here!
